Greatly improved in 2022
You are missing out if you don't play this course now, it is in great shape and it just keeps getting better!
Fun round
The greens were in excellent shape & the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Love playing here!
Great Day in Florence.
When you factor in course layout, condition, pace of play, etc. This is hands down the best course you can play for less than $100 during the summer within 2 hours of Eugene.
Gem on the coast
Have played this course on the way down to play Bandon Dunes from Portland and it is excellent. You will not be disappointed and the price is right to boot. A must play for sure whenever you are in Florence.
Very nice golf at good rates
Played this course while staying in Florence . Typical Oregon weather with slight drizzle of and on during the round. Not busy at all and we played in about 3 1/2 hours. Great layout with lots of variety. Well bunkered, greens were nice. As we stood on the first tee, the starter, with water dripping off his hat said. “It May rain later in the day”. Was a warm mist. Very friendly staff.

Always enjoy this course, be prepared for some different playing conditions from morning to the afternoon, can walk this course
Good golf course
I have played this course many times over the years. It is one of my favorites for several reasons. I live in Eugene and in the winter and spring this is the only mostly dry course in our area. The course is competitive yet not to difficult for high handicap players. The lay out is beautiful and it is just a fun place to play. I wish the restaurant was open, the food was good, and it was a nice place to unwind after a round.

Fantastic Florence
This course is amazingly fun and well kept. Best round in years
Links style golf.
We really enjoyed playing the course with it being firm and fast. We had played the course previously, when it was maintained more as a parkland course, wet & green, even though the layout is a links style. While the course isn’t as pretty & green as it use to be, it now plays much more like a true links course should be.
I was sorry that they had to shorten the 7th hole because of mother nature blowing sand on the old green. But hopefully they will find a solution to control the blowing sand, which will allow them return the hole to its original design.
The staff was friendly & helpful. While the restaurant was no longer in operation, they do have a snack counter.
If you enjoy links style golf, I think you will enjoy this course.
Florence Golf Course
We really enjoyed the course. We started at 1:30pm. We did not wait at all. The front 9 was protected from the wind due to the abundance of trees. The back nine was very windy: about 17mph. We had fun and will play again.
Fun course
Enjoyed the wide fairways. Really challenging par threes. Greens putted smoothly with some interesting breaks. Would definitely play again when in the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This my go-to course in Florence! Friendly staff & well-kept grounds & a good pace of play. Course is beautiful & challenging for any golfer.
