The Olympic at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington offers two championship courses, the Olympic and Cascade, both of which are known as two of the best public courses in the greater Seattle area. The Olympic Course is the more challenging of the two with more hills and water hazards. Dramatically sculpted from the thick Pacific Northwest forest, the driving corridors are surprisingly generous. Towering evergreens line the fairways and there are significant elevation changes throughout, making it a complete workout to walk the course. The layout's most challenging element is the undulating greens, which are often guarded by bunkers and mounding. The final four holes are the most memorable featuring a combination of water, trees, and stunning views. The final hole on the Olympic Course is a drivable par 4 that is the perfect finish to your round.

Better than most.
Overall course was excellent -fairway, green, distance markers etc.
Top of the tops.
Love it, even when wet...
What a great track. A little wet, still a super track I will definitely play again.
Great Layout
Course in great shape, played in the afternoon, greens were good, one negative traps seem to be low on sand.
The best around
This course is the best bang for your buck in Washington State. You cannot find a nicer course for this kind of a deal. If you get a Hot Deal on this course, book it because it's worth it.
One of the best in the PacificNorthwest
This is one of the best cources in the Pacific Northwest, not just for the money but because of the condition, difficulty, and beauty.
Very challenging & fun to play course
This is one of the better golf course in Washington that serious golfer must play, the condition is perfect, only the back 9 green still show little trace of aerification other than that I can't complain.
The course design and set up was challenging the green play true and fast, the rough are not too long but fair, even if you miss the fairway still be able to go for the green, the elevation change make you be very cautions about club selections and yardage that what make it fun to play here. Overall highly recomm'd, I'm certainly will be back very soon.
Dry and fast
Firm fairways and fast greens. The course is one of the driest in Western Washington, all year long. A must play.
It's your own championship, you against the course!
I walked into the to pro shop and found the men working behind the desk, super friendly and helpful. As a single, I was able to get out just a few minutes earlier than originally planned. The greens are awesome, and it you know how to read greens, you will do well there.
Unlimited challenge in shot making, you must place the ball for your next shot. Thinking is required, don't let your guard down at this course. Shotmaking on Par 3's can be rewarding, careful of the blind lakes. Best to purchase a yardage book.
The fairways were well maintained, as well as the greens. I thought there should have been a more forward tee for the women, it is very difficult if you are a mid to upper handicap. Even though I am a 12, I wish there would have been a few shorter par 4's for me, than offered. Maybe a new forward tee would be the ticket.
I'd come back in a heartbeat. Lots of hills, so if you are used to walking hilly courses you will be fine. The price was well worth it, as they hold many championship tournaments there, as well as qualifiers.
Beautiful views.
Beautiful course! More challenging than it looks. Risk/reward at 18 makes you think more than once about what shot to take.
Great Course
This course is a very nice Northwest course. The course is in great shape, still a little wet however very playable. The greens are super fast but very playable. Great Course look forward to playing in the summer...
Beautiful course!
This course is very well maintained. It was wet all week and fairways were damp but not soaked and greens were very fast.
A real test!
Gold Mountain is a tough course. But very fair. Players definitely need to be honest about their group's overall skill level when choosing which set of tee boxes to play from! Very beautiful course. Excellent practice areas, Grass range, definitely coming back a few times this season. This track is worth 3 times the money golfnow.com is charging!
The course is in great shape
I have played gold Mtn many times b4.
And the course, greens and rough are all in very prestine condition
And the staff are very friendly as well..
Highly recommended.
course conditions
the conditions there were like it was summer time! great great time!
The best!
Gold mountain Olympic continues to be about the finest course around. Super friendly, helpful staff, great course condition, fair price.
A great challenging course with beautiful views
This course was greatly maintained in every way which can be hard during the northwest winters. The smoothest greens I've played on in a while as well. I recommend getting at least a push cart since the course is quite a walk up and down the mountain side. I cant wait to go back!
