Course was in good shape and it's a nice layout. Great value.
Worth the Drive, Well-Maintained Course
I had never played Compass Pointe before and only did so by taking advantage of a GolfNow deal. The course is about an hour from my home but is worth the drive. Course was in great condition, but note that greens were of variable speed so not easy to gauge pace of putting. Front nine much more wide open than the back nine so important to keep shots in play, with water more of a factor as well. Although not nearby I would consider playing there again soon.

Always have a good time playing here. Both courses have a good layout and the green fees are reasonable compared to other courses in Maryland

The starters were young and had zero people skills. I don't ever give bad reviews however, this was ridiculously terrible. Went to grab a golf cart to load up our clubs, was told I couldn't take cart to parking lot. The parking lot had golf carts everywhere. I was somewhat baffled. Once we carried our clubs down we again had to ask the three (3) staff guys which cart. they pointed. Loaded up and went to drive to the driving range when I asked for a key to the golf cart I was told the range was closed. While there were guys using the range we were told we would get a cart key when it was our tee time. So we waited for Mr. Wonderful to give us a key as this 16 year old was in charge. Very frustrating from the start and apparently it mattered who you were to use the driving range or drive your cart to your car.

Great track...bunkers, fairways, and tee boxes in good shape. The greens were bombed out...fix your digits people!
Cart was a bit rickety...made it though.
19th hole is abandoned but you can get beer and good choice of food from concession stand.
Good practice facilities. Rental clubs newer Callaway in good shape.
Friendly staff. Lots of wildlife and peaceful course.
Would recommend !!
Played both courses in a 5 day period, preferred the North/West course. Seemed in better shape, and found more pleasant to the eye. Both were fun to play!
Great course, beautiful day
Really enjoy playing at CP. Played the SW course as they have a full 36 holes, the other course is NE. Great conditions, greens were fast and well kept. Fairways nice and cut on the rough. Love playing CP, will be back soon.
EXCEPTIONAL Course HORRIBLE Carts! THE WORST CARTS EVER!
The course is AWESOME!!! Love the variety of the various courses (36 holes total).
Driving range has grass!!! Two putting greens. Preactice sand trap.
Staff is professional and very friendly
The carts!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the WORST carts I have ever had to deal with. NEEDS NEW CARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
