Good value, but not serious golfing

The driving range is in good shape with a decent number of mats being in the shade. A medium bucket (64 balls) cost $9.00.

The par 3 left a lot to be desired, but to be fair I am comparing it to the par 3 courses I used to golf in Denver which were full blow courses. The longest hole is 110 yards and only three of the nine are more than 100 yards. Everything else i would classify as an approach shot. I had problems as I was consistently over shooting the greens with my lob wedge, which other than my putter was the only club I used. You shoot from worn out tee mats as opposed to a tee box or mowed grass.

The greens are just shortly cut rough grass. It is not a proper green in any way. Trying to read and subsequently putt on the surface was a disaster. The surface was like trying to putt on rough berber carpet.

I lost interest in the course quite quickly so I just practiced my Mickelson flop shots the whole time. Additionally, there is no drinking water anywhere. Thankfully i brought a water bittle, but ran out quickly. You have to pay at a vending machine if you want water. I was there when it was 92+ and with the humidity it was brutal.

On the plus side, the round did only cost $8.50. So if you are just looking to get out, hit a few balls and goof off, or if you have kids that are just learning to play, then it is well worth the money. If you are looking for anything half serious, don't waste your time.
