GREENS
Overall the course we excellent. The greens we very large, excellent shape and exceptionally very fast for a public and we liked that. I would definitely recommend play the course at least once.
GPS
New for 2018, they’ve got new carts with GPS. a nice addition. They’ve also replaced all the flags and the cups in the holes. Course is the same as always, which is nice for a municipal course. Great staff.
no reason for cart path
played oct.27 cart path only found out when checking in already paid on golf now so could nt get money back jammed people up so far back waited on many holes with golfers on green in fairway on tee box 90 degree rule would have been fine fairways were in good shape waited way tooooooooo long 6 and 1/2 hr.round uncalled for "players asst" only cared about carts on fairway did nothing to remedy over booking very sad

This was my 1st time playing this course..one word.. AWESOME!....This a MUST play course... Absolutely Beautiful!

Challenging course
The course was in good shape. The greens where in good shape fast and pin placements where challenging.
OVER BOOK
Horrible experience. They way over book. Had some people in carts, and some walking. So the pace of play was horrible. Played 3 holes in 70 min. Then left.
Great course for the money. I play this course all the time and it is a nice course to play
Your average American muni
Nothing incredible, but a decent enough 18 to fill the regular golf needs of someone who live in Livonia. Just don't drive out of your way to play here. I'd avoid playing until late-May when the course is able to fully recover from the weekend as there are many other course in the Detroit area in better 'spring' shape. Course has some serious drainage issues resulting in incredibly soggy fairways and roughs following any form of heavy rain and for much of the early season. In peak summer condition Fox Creek very much your average American muni course with pretty open holes where you really need to shank one to find trouble. As with just about any course on par with F.C. don't be surprised to occasionally encounter slow play due to the high number of seniors, 'weekend hackers' and beginners who play here.
Course was in good shape for Michigan golf in February and at a fair price. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Good mix of risk/rewards holes for all golfers to enjoy.

Destination Kohler - Champions' Trail Golf Package
Unfortunately there are days we need to restrict the carts to the path in order to maintain the condition of the course. As for Oct. 27, we did not have a group play in over 4.5 hours as we track all turn times and finish times. If anyone ever played in 6.5 hours, actions would be taken and refunds issued.
