Fox Creek Golf Course

Took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather! Course was a bit soggy (several tee shots plugged in the fairway and rough) and greens were a bit slow, but the fact that the course was open was impressive enough! Course was crowded and pace of play was very slow -- no one cared. We were golfing in February in Michigan!

An average course in every way. No complaints just plain and simple...over priced considering. Would be a better course with cheaper fees and some minor changes

Course was in great condition. Especially the greens. The greens were in great shape for this time of year.

The course was completely drenched and soggy, mud everywhere. It rained1" two days before we played and the course was still soaked, bunkers flooded and mud everywhere, very poor drainage, you would think after two days the course would be OK but that was definitely not the case. Still had a great time.

Long time resident of this area and have played here many time over the years. Fairways and greens are in very good shape. For the average recreational golfer this is a fun and challenging course. A great value as green fees are reasonable.

A very nice course, conditions were in tip top shape, greens ran very true with good pace. Not an overly difficult course..one very gimmicky hole..pace of play was great..and the price was very fair for a Saturday morning

Booked as a single golfer. I was hoping that I was paired up with someone. Front desk didn't make much effort to pair me up. Waited on every hole with another pair. Found a ranger on the back nine before starting out. He did tell the foursome to move but couldn't pass them because another threesome was just as slow. The other ranger I expressed my concerned didn't even attempt to move the other golfers. It was starting to back up behind me and made me play faster than I wanted to play. On one hole in on the front nine I waited 15 minutes to play the whole. Also there wan't any water offered on the course.

This course was nostalgic for me. The last time I was here was in the summer of 1987 when I was working for the construction company that built this course. I thoroughly enjoyed how the finished product looked and played. I would highly recommend this course.

Always well maintained. Good greens, manicured fairways. A few of the holes are really challenging. No. 2, 5 and 12 and 15, birdies are tough. Par is a good score.

Course is fun to play. Fair challenge. Greens are not in peek conditions yet. They are still aerated and bumpy. Other then that, course is fun to play.

Course was in overall good condition with few leaves for November. They said the greens had been aireated 3 weeks ago however it appeared to be more recent than that as all the holes were very visible. No sand was used to fill in the holes so it was very difficult to putt well. Play time was about 4 hours and 40 minutes, a bit slow. Could have been much quicker but for two very slow groups in front of us which the course did nothing about.

I was running behind about 5 minutes and they made my partner tee off without me.aNY OTHER TIME THEY ARE LATE AND I DONT PUSH THEM,THEY COULDNT GIVE ME 5 MINUTES CAUSE THEY OVERBOOKED THEMSELVES AND ONLY LET PEOPLE OFF THE FRONT.tHE BACK WAS WIDE OPEN ? tHEY DROVE ME OUT TO MY PARTNER WHO WAS ON THE 1ST GREEN.THEN WE PRECEEDED TO WAIT FOR A TWOSOME OF WOMEN AND A THREESOME OF WOMEN WHO WERE SLOW AS HECK. NEVER AGAIN,YOUR PRICES WERE GETTING OUTRAGEOUS ANYWAY ,I"M RETIRED AND DONT SPEND OVER 30 DOLLARS ON SOME REALLY NICE COURSES TOO!! SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS I WAS GETTING MADDER AS I WAS TYPING,LOL..OH,THEY MUST HAVE JUST ARREATED THE GREENS CAUSE THE BALL WAS HOPPING EVERYWHERE

Enjoyed the round. Competitive for low handicap players as well as high handicap can score and feel good about themselves. Nice elevation and great greens

Excellent course conditions for this time of year, staff took care of us and made us feel welcomed. All l can say is fox creek is one of the best courses I've played all year.

I was started as a solo because tee box was open but the twosome in front was very slow. They had no intent on letting me by or joining up so i had a twosome behind me that was waiting on the box every hole. They intern had a single behind them. Bad decision not to make a better effort to pair up people. Need a starter .Play got so slow that I invited the two behind me to join up at the turn. Turn was chaotic to say the least.They start Nine holers on the front and eighteen holers on the back. Not a good combo.Other than that course is good for a city track.

This course is very nice it's hit or miss on rate of speed sometimes you were at a normal pace and sometimes you're waiting 20 minutes a hole there are Rangers but they are in their own world the greens are in great condition but not very fast some holes are tight most of them are wide open so if you spray the ball you are fine food is little bit on the high side but I would only play the scores on a hot deal otherwise it's too high

Played on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of couples and kids on the course. I was paired with a couple of other guys.

We still played in around 4 hours.

Bottom line, this course exceeded my expectations. A good challenge to be sure. Well taken care of course. Falls prey to people not fixing ball marks more than some courses I have played.
