Best "Local" Course in Clintonville area.
Riverside Golf, is always in great shape. Little rough after the late frost & ice, but excellent right now. The weekday morning special rate is the best value I have found.
The staff is a "10". And the food is awesome!

Excellent public course, especially for the price
We had a last minute opportunity to golf this course from my golf now app. We had never been there before but it was very inexpensive and we were very happy with the course. It was interesting layout, not boring. Had nice elevation changes and was pleasant to play. It was busy but people let us through so that wasn't a problem and we still finished in 3 and 1/2 hours. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful course
The course was in great shape. A few greens were not perfect but for the most part it was fast greens, nice tee boxes and fairways. Everything was lush and green. We had a slow couple groups in front of us to start, back they cleared out in the back nine. The course is tough with the hills and hidden greens on several holes but overall I would recommend it, especially with the Tee off deal prices.
Great deal for a very nice course
Riverside is a nice gem in Central Wisconsin. Very hilly and a little tricky to navigate the first few times playing the course. Numerous blind shots that will challenge your commitment to shooting at targets. The medium fast greens were very challenging, if they were to raise the Stimp rating a few points the pucker factor would be high on any side or down putts. Also these greens can drive you crazy if you don't pay attention to the overall lay of the land the green is built on.
Also the course has under $30 deals every weekday morning until 11AM.
Definitely worth the trip at least once for most golfers who can appreciate old school course layouts.
What a gem
What a beautiful course! The rolling hills and all the trees made for quite the challenging round. The front 9 is a little confusing around the range, but I managed to make it around no problem. A couple holes you had to drive a bit to get to. The island hole was really cool! I will be back. Worth the drive from the valley.
being our 1st time golfing there was a little challenging especially with the course layout on the back 9. At first we played a little slow seeing what we thought were people t-ing off on the next hole not realizing it wasn't the next hole. the back 9 is pretty spread out which is o k with a cart but would be a long walk. Will definitely golf there again now that we know the layout better.

Course layout is fun, challenging.
The island par 3 is a beautiful hole.
Course was well maintained, a few greens were a little tore up but they were soft in the right spots and the drainage is great with the rain we got the night before the round
