Crotched Mountain Golf Club
About
Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross design set against a beautiful New England backdrop in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. The course is situated at the base of a mountain, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Monadnock region. This peacefully secluded spot is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are changing. The golf course has many unique holes that will test your skill with a variety of different shots. Mature trees line the narrow fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers flanking the greens. You will also come across the occasional water hazard. There are some challenging holes but Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a fair and playable round that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The practice facility at Crotched Mountain includes a driving range and two different putting greens, including one with a sand bunker for chipping practice.

18th Holes with Clubhouse, Crotched Mountain Photo submitted by GolfMentor on 07/14/2014
Great Day at the course
I has an enjoyable round of golf. The course was in good shape. I would play it again.
Great course
Great course, greens nice fairways too. Tee boxed well manicured also.
Technicians course
Labor Day 4 hour round, greens recently aerated. Course requires above average skill, nothing is level, unforgiving tree-lined fairways, groomed sand traps. Late for tee time due to local parades, no problem. Will be back again soon.
Gorgeous Day
I've been golfing here for the last three years. Conditions have improved every year. Greens are excellent though they had just punched them. Fairways are nice, some tough spots, but overall very nice. Good layout though you'll find a couple very difficult holes because of "crowned" fairways that make hitting the fairway very difficult. You'll love the views. Good pub/grille/restaurant when you're done. Nice deck overlooking the 18th green
Eclipse golf
We got to play during the solar eclipse. The course was in great shape.
Great views
Beautiful, challenging course in great shape. Will play again.
Great setting in the mountains of New Hampshire
This was an excellent day at this course went in the gentleman that worked at the desk was very accommodating and nice the cart beverage girl was very friendly .I had no problem playing 18 holes with no wait time i hooked up with a man that I didn't know but he was really nice and about the same skill level as me I would highly recommend this course to people it's in like an old school 1970 style Clubhouse very quaint and a nice little small town I will be back again
Tight and challenging
Used my driver three times. Makes you really think about your tee shots. Loved it!
serene setting
Course tucked into the woods, great elevation changes. tricky undulating greens. You do not need driver on every hole so course knowledge is key. Water features on the front 9. Alot of sidehill lies on the back 9
Mountain Course
Great course , very challenging up and down course on the side of Crotches mountain, only negative was the edges have lots of poison ivy which makes it difficult to retrieve errant shots, however balls are cheap price to pay for a great time , love this course and try to play a few times on my NH visits.
Rainy Day Course to ourselves
We arried it was sprinkling. We went in for lunch to wait it out. Lunch was good, staff was very friendly.
Rain never stopped so we had the track to ourselves most of the day. My daughter had a great time even though we were soaked. The cartpaths neef a little attention they were rocky. But hey your on a mountain with great views. We made the best of it. I would definitely play here again next year when we return to NH for the races.
A deal no golfer can pass up
Any golf course should be commended for offering an 8 dollar hot deal in 2017 this course not only does that but is incredible as well! Very challenging course with roofing tar for rough! The driver isn't your friend on all but maybe 5 holes, think before you pull out the big stick! Can't wait to go back and torture myself again!
Beautiful Golf Course, but......
Had a beautiful day, beautiful course, really great staff, and great company, and US OPEN ROUGH. Granted, we're supposed to keep it in the fairway, but really 4" rough? C'mon...
Definitely worth the drive
Challenging test of shot making ability. Can be a little frustrating at times, but a fun change of pace from most local courses.
