Terrible condition
I’m local to this course. This would be a good course like it once was, but the have let go down the drain. The tee boxes are ok the fairways are ok just mowed very short. The greens are absolutely horrendous, dead places, burnt places, grass trimming from the mowers! The had a waterline burst over the summer and while they where having it fixed they completely avoided watering the greens. They just let them burn and die. Yet they still try to charge 50/60$ to play course and 40$ on here!! Do go unless you wanna avoid putting
Disappointing greens
Crockett Ridge usually has very good greens, but this summer they've not up to standard. A couple of months it appeared the greens were mowed with an unlevel mower deck. There were several greens with areas that had been scalped and lost the grass. Yesterday we found the greens had been aerate, hopefully to make the greens better in a month or so.
Greens
A few dead spots on greens but not many, I would say 17 of the 18 greens had great coverage. If they were rolling a 10 or better they would be a lot of fun to putt. I would say they were rolling 8 down hill and maybe a 6 uphill. Fairways were perfect condition
Going down hill fast
I’ve been playing here for years now and I don’t think I’ve seen it in such poor condition, especially the greens.
At $49.00 I was very disappointed and couldn’t recommend.
Also they assume everyone wants 2 crappy hotdogs and a drink included in the price. What’s that all about?
Just not worthy of the price.
I won’t be back.
Still a good value
The course is in good shape given the dry conditions locally. Back nine greens are stressed. Front nine is excellent.
The greens have issues.
About half of the greens have bare patches without grass. A few weeks ago it appeared the greens were mowed with an unlevel mower deck. Since that day, the greens have been loosing grass and bare patches have been increasing.
Horrible greens
Grass too long, can’t make any putts because severely bumpy, ridges become grass on greens too high
