Going down hill fast
I’ve been playing here for years now and I don’t think I’ve seen it in such poor condition, especially the greens.
At $49.00 I was very disappointed and couldn’t recommend.
Also they assume everyone wants 2 crappy hotdogs and a drink included in the price. What’s that all about?
Just not worthy of the price.
I won’t be back.
Still a good value
The course is in good shape given the dry conditions locally. Back nine greens are stressed. Front nine is excellent.
The greens have issues.
About half of the greens have bare patches without grass. A few weeks ago it appeared the greens were mowed with an unlevel mower deck. Since that day, the greens have been loosing grass and bare patches have been increasing.

Grass too long, can’t make any putts because severely bumpy, ridges become grass on greens too high

Good overall conditions, greens just a little slow, probably due to not cutting so low with hot weather
Greens in trouble.
CRGC usually has very good greens, I assume because of the drought they haven't been able to cut them as tight and they've been slower than usual. It also appears that several of the greens were cut improperly (the mower deck wasn't level) and they have browned out spots on them.
Best course in area
Course is always in great shape staff is welcoming.
Great layout, really nice greens
I previously played here three years ago and I remember it being a nice track but in rough shape. This time around it was in much better shape. The greens rolled true, but a tad slow. That's to be expected this time of year cause they were watered to keep from burning up. The fairways were fairly hard and you got some roll on your drives. Some areas were burnt out due to the drought but nothing terrible.
If I lived closer, I:d seriously consider joining this great course. But for now, I'll try to make the 1.5 hour drive at least once a month.My thanks to the superintendent on doing a great job. Keep up the good work guys!
Great friendly staff
My husband and I wanted to play while in the Bristol TN area and found Crockett Ridge on the website. We needed to rent a set of club and also ended up needing push our time back a day due to flight delays and the staff, especially Jade, was very helpful. The course is pretty straightforward which is great for me as new player. If I am in the area again, I would go back again.
