Great Experience
I've played Orgill for several years in the past and made a return trip this past Saturday. The fairways were green and gorgeous. The ruff was about 2 inches deep but still easy to hit out of. The greens held very well when hit from long or short, however they were pretty fast and putted true.
I brought two fellows with me that had never played there before and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I Shot 43/39 and can't wait to come back and play again, and I play all over the area with various courses. I would recommend the Orgill experience to everyone.

Fun
Course was good and the pace of play was really nice it was a lot of fun

Great value
Course has improved immensely this year. Rough was trimmed up nicely and the greens are so much better now. You can tell the staff has put a lot of work in to improving all areas from the clubhouse to new range balls. Always a good value in my book. Hopefully future upgrades will include more of a pro shop.

Terrible pace of play
Seemingly no regulation on the course. Pace of play was super slow and there was nobody to regulate. Also the “clubhouse” didn’t sell golf balls. Never seen that before. Over all bad value for $35

Way too slow
The course was in good shape but the marshal was not good at telling people to move. That’s one of the reasons I like going there because of the speed but this time it was pathetic

Good Condition
Course was in good shape, you could tell it had been watered unlike many of the courses in the area. Roughs were short which gave the opportunity for a low round. Greens and fairways were excellent.

My first time on a golf course was at orgill. 9/1/1981. I’ve always loved it. Challenging beautiful and fair. Only negative is some greens and green side areas have sprinkler leaks and are swampy and muddy. I consider it my home course

Stop crying
I am a little surprised by some of the crybaby reviews. They must have been made by guys who cant putt or hit a fairway. Rough was high, but stay out of it. That's why they call it rough. Greens rolled well, fairways were way above decent. There were some water issues in places, but for the price it's probably the best value in the area. Eric does a really good job of keeping a low budget track way above par.

This course needs serious work.
The rough was ridiculously high. There were so many bugs coming out of the grass. It needed to be sprayed.

Greens and rough need work
Rough is ridiculous. US open length. Barely miss the fairway and you can’t find your ball unless you happen to step on it. I’ve played here once a year for the last 3yrs hoping the greens would improve but they haven’t. There are these odd ridges/lines in the greens that either grab your ball or make it hop depending on if you a parallel or perpendicular to the lines in the greens.
