Indian Hills Golf Course

The course was in great shape other than some water laying in the fairways on a few holes.

It had rained 2 days before but the course was still cart path and had some extremely soggy areas. Layout is good, course is good

Ranger was great. Greens/tee boxes mediocre

Played today in a foursome and as many other times before we were constantly run up on by singles and twosome. I know they call groups to the tee box but there is not any attempt to pair up groups and so therefore the singles and twosome just become marauders to unleash fury on people that bring 4 green fees to the course, because we have to look back and see somebody with their hands on their hips like we are doing something wrong, when in fact it is the staff that are causing the situation because they will not pair people up. I am done bringing more than a twosome out here any more. It isn't fun and it just isn't worth it. The place could be so good if somebody would just give it some thought and make it happen. I am rooting for this place to turn it around, because the surrounding area needs a really well run golf course in this price point.

Great course! I played from the tips which made it much more challenging. If I didn’t play the tips, then the fairway Would not have Felt as narrow. But I like a challenge!

There was rain recently so the course Was cart path only.

Very slow play due to wet conditions,(cart path only).

Nearly 5 hour round. Recommend only if 90 degrees on cart.

course was a bit wet and soggy. Not much you can do with the amount of rain. However, it was fun and pretty challenging

Greens were completely sanded over and putting was impossible. This should trigger a course alert on Golf Now or their website. Staff was rude when I asked when we could expect the greens to be completely healed. My group will not be returning.

Absolutely will not be back. Manager of Indian Hills is very rude. Came in without a mask and he was very rude in telling us to put it on. I Was in the process of putting it on he did not have to be rude. Haven’t saying that he stood there looking out the window not even acknowledging us. I had to tell him “hello” we have a tee time at 12:50 and he finally turned around and said I will be with you and continue to look out the window. I told him I would like to speak to the owner and he would not give me a name if I needed to speak to anyone, he was the manager and I would not get very far with him. If my daughter didn’t have a tournament here we would never come.....just awful!!!!

Course should let the players know abouit the miserable sandy greens, understand they must do that but a heads up and potentially small discount would have been appreciated, they should give the players a choice whether they want to play there ahead of time

Got out today with my dad on his 80th birthday. He drove the cart and opened the beer and I hacked out a 94. Had a blast didn’t lose too many balls. In fact I found more than I lost. New greens were in great shape and rolled great. Staff were very friendly. Will be back

Know and like the course, but they don’t communicate important info. Third time recently I played here and wasn’t told beforehand about sand on the greens which had small rocks in it making putting very difficult. The last time it was aeration and no one bothered to tell us. Overall good challenging course, but they need to tell people about course conditions.

I come to Indian Hills every couple weeks or so. I honestly enjoy this course. The layout is very similar to a Florida course, meandering through a neighborhood of retired old folks you'll often see sitting on their patios, watching. Elevated greens are tough, never a flat putt. Generally a fun course to play. Staff is great, too. My only issue is that a few weeks ago I went out and they had recently aerated, without any warning on their website or GolfNow. Fine. Ill let it slide this time. No need to be a Karen. But then I came back a couple weeks later on 8/1/20 to hopefully find the greens mostly healed and THEY HAD AERATED AGAIN. Again, no mention of this on their website, or GolfNow. This time the aerations were really fresh and putting was impossible. Then I came to the reviews (which I should have done before I booked) and saw that someone wrote that they received a discount because of it! I was never offered a discount! I guess squeaky Karens do get the grease.
