winter conditions
The grass was dormant due to the time of year, greens rolled really well. This would be a course I would like to revisit during the normal playing season.
Headed in the right direction.
I am a long time and loyal player at this course. When it’s bad, I’m the first to speak.
With that being said, the recent changes in staffing has shown major improvements in course conditions. The gear in the clubhouse is slowly being upgraded as well!!!! My group made several purchases this weekend. Staff is amazing. Great people!
Golf on the way to class reunion.
Played on a sunny 80 degrees Saturday in October. So the course was full. Checked in as a single, expecting to play with 3 strangers, but the other 3 did not show. Allowed me to tee off as a single with foursomes ahead and foursomes behind. Pace of play was very good for a busy Saturday. Course starter and marshal did an excellent job with course information and letting me know how groups were moving. I can normally play 18 holes as a single in 2 1/2 hours. This round took 4 hours as it should on a busy Saturday. Course was very dry, but in very good shape. Greens are firm and fast and challenging.
Day off
Tough course. Unique layout. Lots of trouble to be found. Was in good shape. Driving range mats only. No good. Will definitely play again.
Great time
Hit the range right before teeing off. Great time. Will be back next week.
Enjoyed the golf experience
Had a great day at Indian Hills. Course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. The new simulator room is excellent.
