Oak Knoll Golf Club

It’s a good little country golf course. No frills but it’s a good value and not so uptight.

Greens in great shape, fairways dry but expected with lack of rain. All tee boxes are terrible and make a nice little course frustrating. Definitely not worth the money.

Good overall experience. Friendly staff. Course was well maintained. Cart was clean and ran fine. I would definitely return.

Had lots of rain a couple days prior to playing holes 12-18 were under water. They gave us the option to play up to 11 twice so that was ok. Definitely a beginner course. Greens were all nice.

I booked at oak knoll but I was supposed to book for oak springs in Saint Anne, Illinois.

We had a great time ,other golfers very nice and understanding of slow play at times ,course in great shape for time of year

Good place for the money but nothing to write home over. Open course if you spray the ball but conditions about as good as a goat ranch. I was looking to get in a quick 9 to start off the year. It’s not a difficult course for a lower handicap player. Good for taking out the kids to hit it around.

If you could’ve already played this course, I would recommend it!

We arrived 15 minutes before our tee time And we were greeted by a line of 6 carts and a group of walkers. With a ranger this happened by the way, which a 6 year old could solve this in minutes.

Paid for 18 holes and found out 2 are closed off, you give us carts but don’t worry it’s cart path only making the pace of play through the roof.

The course it’s self wasn’t ready to open especially if it’s ran this way.

I love Oak Knoll! It’s a confidence boosting track that definitely scratches the golf itch and it’s a STAPLE for the Crown Point golfing community, but I’ve noticed the course conditions declining over the last few years.

Albeit, I played this course in mid-February (in NWI) and I know I can’t complain, but the conditions on the course (especially holes 13-16 on the back 9) were rough! It was cart path only (obviously) but I had trouble keeping my items in the cart while driving through all the bumps on the cart path.

I really hope they add something to justify the price point when it’s time for the “regular golf season” because I’d hate to see this course to continue to break down moving forward!
