Great Course
If you are in or around the Baton Rouge area, I cannot recommend this course enough! The fairways and greens are in phenomenal shape, and the layout is not anything too crazy. There’s a good mix of gettable holes, demanding tee shots, water hazards, and risk/reward holes. By far the best public course around
Great Place
great place!! course was in great shape and well worth the $50 green fees. I have played nicer courses, but cost more money. Everyone I spoke with, from pro shop, marshall and even the couple I got paired with, were exceptionally friendly. Other than the 3 holes where I lost my groove, it was an awesome day of golf. highly recommend if you're in the area!!!!

Been playing this course for many years and it is in the best shape that I have ever seen. Greens were fast and smooth and fairways were real nice. Pace of play was great because I was there on a Thursday afternoon and there was hardly anybody else on course, not the case on weekends, the lady behind the counter said if you want to play on the weekend you had better call way in advance for a tee time. The practice facilities were pretty crowded mostly high school golf teams practicing. Will play this course again real soon. I highly recommend this course.the green fees are a little steep but in this case well worth it.

Excellent course fell like I was playing in Florida.
Weird pace of play and mean register lady
So I went during a day where they had like a pga qualifier going on apparently so pace of play was a little slow but we still finished in 3.5 hours ish. The lady who was running the cash register was new or something and she like didnt give some guy his all his range ball coins and didnt listen to him when he came back to get them then was acting like the people paying were stupid for putting their card in the reader wrong. And then i had a free round voucher with some card and when I showed it to her she just said “No” and i had to explain to her that yes in fact I do get it cause it’s a BREC course. But after that everything was great course is kept in tip top shape no complaints other than that. The course being fun honestly makes up for it. Range is in great shape the chipping area and putting green are both in great shape.
Good BREC Course
Greens are excellent. Green, true roll and fast. The hold well since the aeration and sanding.
