Limestone Springs Golf Club

This is a beautiful course. My only complaint the course was overbooked and we had to wait on every tee box. Had to wait 20 minutes to tee off on the first tee. Took 6 hours to play a round of golf.

Got a great deal on Golf Now to play Limestone! Been playing here for 5 years. The course is set in the foothills of the bottom end of the Appalachian mountains. Gorgeous!

The greens are perfect as are the tees and fairways. The pro shop and grill staff are always so friendly and welcoming!l The practice facilities are excellent!

This golf course is a gem in the Birmingham area. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Course was in excellent conditions greens were really smooth. But 5 holes were cartpath only. My entire foursome got really tired and exhausted with a heat index at100. 3 of us in our 80s almost passed out from the heat and having to walk up and down the steep slopes

Great shape like always and have never seen it packed . Always a great time and great track.!

Great course, well maintained. Had 11 great holes, then a foursome of senior players refused to let our twosome through. They averages15+ minutes per hole (and they were scrambling). There was no one in front of them holding them up. There was a marshal cart at clubhouse but we never saw it on the course

Wouldn’t know about this course if not for GolfNow, and I’m already trying to figure out when I can revisit. Even though there was some maintenance happening on tee boxes, this place is such a hidden gem. Incredible views, pure greens, fun layout.

Make this trip. It’s worth it!

Great layout and GolfNow makes it worthwhile with hot deals. I don’t mind driving an extra few minutes to play this course.

Wonderful Golf Course. We’ve had lots of rain lately, but this course drains very well except for a couple holes. They have some of the best greens I’ve seen this year. The course has a very fun layout and is very well maintained aside from a little wash out on a few holes. Highly recommended, if you get a chance to play it. Definitely a Top 10 public course in Alabama.

I have played this course many times and it is in the best condition that I have ever seen it. Even though it got very warm I had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back soon.

Honest review:

Greens are better than most and the best I have seen at this course in a long time.

Sand traps are very good except a few have the liners exposed.

Fairways are lousy. They are basically green dirt.

Tee boxes are horrible. The course is residing some of the tees, but all of them will need to be redone.

The course wants over $ 85.00 on weekday. I can play many comparable courses for $45.00.
