Beautiful
One of the best courses I have ever played. Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams are awesome. The view is spectacular.
Short but challenging
No wind on the day I played, but you can see what a challenge that would bring. The course is in great condition and the staff and locals are very friendly.
The Wind was it normal 15-20 mph
Great Sunny day, got teamed up with two local women who played great and another Portland single who came out for the great deal.
Beautiful Gem!
This great course has a place in my heart! It is unique with lots of character. The views of Mount Hood are spectacular. The greens putt true, the fairways are beautiful, and it feels luxurious to me. The staff is always friendly. I really recommend Indian Creek Golf Course. It's a breathtaking scenic drive up the Columbia River Gorge from Portland...well worth the trip!
Overpriced for the value
For the price to play this course, it is in poor shape. It's a case of "we can charge a lot and make a brand and people will think we are great." Not the case. There are clumps of mowed grass all over the place. I expect that from your normal $10 per 9 hole course. But not here. The gentleman at the pro-shop was not very nice. I would not pay more than $10 a nine here. Now with a little extra TLC, and a reduction of price this course will be appropriate, but it is currently mis -aligned. I would highly suggest only doing Golf-Now deals here.
The Good: The restaurant was fantastic, the staff outside is slow, but it is always slow(Fortunately, I'm never in a hurry), the staff inside is prompt.
Oh and for the guy in the yellow shirt that we let play through. You have to be way better than that to ask to play through. You held us up. LOL
Great greens on the front.
Picked the right day no wind, The course was in good shape. Back side greens where a little slower than the front. Coulhave been rolled to even out the speed.
Fantastic course, well maintained.
Forecast said dry so booked tee time the night before. Woke up to rain. Got to the course 90 minutes before, had lunch and watched the rain stop and start. We decided to go out anyway and we're glad we did. Even though we got soaked a few times, the beauty and challenge of the course made it worthwhile. Will definitely make the drive to golf here again..
Beautiful course, drier weather!
Gorgeous course, long walks between holes, but excellent, loaded carts. This course is one of the more interesting, spread out courses - particularly the back 9. Front is a little back and forth, but hills and trees disguise it. Well worth the trip from Portland area and SCREAMING cheap deals for an otherwise high-dollar course through Golfnow.
Short cource but very challenging
I bought a hot deal while traveling Portland area for the labor day. The restaurant was excellent for both lunch and dinner. From GPS, the course was very short, so I played very aggressive to reach most of the par 4s in one but I was dump enough to lose many balls. We were totally lost after #1. Need to mark where the #2 hole is. Very difficult to find the holes based on the course map. Highly recommending to use a card. Great course and well maintained in over-all.
Indian Creek is a scenic course and a good value.
The course was in pretty good shape, particularly the greens. At times the course is very narrow leaving little or no room for mistakes. The views of Mt. hood to the south and Mt. Adams to the north, along with the other scenery made this a visually satisfying experience. This course is tough for some to walk because of the distance between some greens and the next tee box along with the undulations in elevation. Definitely worth the visit - and then after your round, visiting one of the many brew pubs in town makes it a nice one day get-away.
Great views. Nice greens. Interesting holes.Looking forward to playing again.

Tough course cause its huge slope in front 9, then back 9 with different feeling. Very Iinteresting golf course here

Fun Course
A beautiful course that is not your run of the mill course. Fantastic layout. I would recommend a cart.
Great place to play on Vacation to Oregon
Course is only 6,000 yards long but usually the wind blows on the course making up for the relatively short yardage. Fun course to play and in the afternoon not really that busy. The walking rate I received for the course was terrific.
GREAT COURSE, GREAT BARGAIN
This is a very fun golf course. Shorter but very challenging.. Toughest greens I have played in Oregon so far. Great views of Mt Hood and Mt Adams. Rent a cart, lots of distance between holes and lots of hills. The course was in great shape..
My only complaint is that I arrive 2 hours early. The guy at the pro shop said I had to tee off on my original time. The was nobody teeing of for a whole hour?? Maybe because I got a great deal on that tee time he wouldn't let me go earlier??
Anyway, Great course and very reasonable pricing.
Always windy in the Gorge!
The wind was relentless (see shape of trees in attached photo), but the shortness from the white tees made the course playable, especially when one factors in the trickle action off of the slopes. Riding cart a must for travel from greens to the next tee, especially on a hot day.
No very long, but challenging.
Try to find a not so windy day. Hard to do in Hood River.
But the shorter layout gets tricky with a stiffer breeze.
This course is a scenic golf challenge
a scenic, hilly, challenging golf course, not a long course with many "narrow" sloping fairways, forces one to use every club in one's bag, stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams
Indian Creek always test us.
Indian Creek combines natural beauty with challenging play. The course always kicks my butt, and I enjoy it the whole time. The long arching par 5 in the front nine and the two blind 90 degree dog legs, onto greens backed by residences, force you to put forth your best. The course is a great mix of hilly terrain and long straight flats. Add a great menu at the club house and the sum of the parts is an awesome day of golf.
Beautiful setting, challengilng course, poor PR
Went to the course to play twice. Both times was met by very poor reception upon checking in to play. Will not choose to go back there. The head pro evidently does not care whether you come to play or not.
