worth the drive
The views around this course are great. Greens were fast and proved challenging but rolled true. It was a great day up the gorge.
Challenging tee shots and tough pin placements
One of the best conditioned golf courses around. Greens are smooth, medium fast, with some subtle breaks. Tee shots require accuracy more than distance. Scenic holes with some variety that will keep you coming back. Enjoyable course, good restaurant, friendly staff-especially Jedi.
The course is in fantastic shape, and challenging
The wind that day was perfect until we tee off then it was a tought day but the course was so beautiful.....
Beautiful
Views of mt hood and St. Helens. Course is short but wind makes it pretty challenging. Greens are some of the nicest I've played, very quick and roll true. The drive from portland is well worth it.
Don't pass on this golf experience !
I rate Indian Creek Golf Course a "Birdie". The view an "Eagle".
this course has some nice features
It is a nice little course with some very tricky holes. Pretty short but when the wind is blowing it can be really tough.
Course is a lot of fun.
Unfortunately we picked the wrong day, but believing in our local weather forecast which was wrong, we liked to froze to death. Snow, hailed, and the wind blew something awful.
Staff, Greens, fairways beautiful!! Oh and the Happy Hour ahi tuna is to die for!!
Awesome golf course!! Hour hour is awesome!! Staff knowledge and friendliness very refreshing.
Course was in very good shape, played well
Greens were plugged approx 10 days prior but are coming back nicely. Course in very good shape tees to greens, good pace of play; all in all a great round of golf.
Thanks Indian Creek!
Great Views and well maintained
It had been raining all week before we showed up and I can't count once I stepped in a muddy/soggy patch of fairway. In other words, drains well. The course is laid out to have fun. A couple of blind shots and steep sloping fairways. You'll need a cart for this one.

Course was in exellent shape!!
Walked on here Sunday of Master weekend, course was in amazing shape and the greens were fast. Staff super attentive and very friendly. We ate lunch in the restaurant after the round; the food was very good with good service. Will go back again and again!!!!
Very fun to play great views....Great Value!!!!!
Counter person not very personable, or helpful had to press for any help....other than that the course was Awesome ...
windy
We started at 10:14 and the front nine was great but the wind came up and it was miserable the last few holes. Not much anyone can do about that other than play early!
the staff is not friendly nor helpful. they simply take your money and process the tee time.
the staff needs lessons in customer service. even if you purchase something in the shop, they remind you the golf now price is so cheap and they get nothing from the booking. it doesn't matter to the customer who is actually buying something in the shop that the golf price is less than usually offered. the staff needs to realize the customer is there because of the golf now price and is able to spend money in the shop because of the golf now price. The staff sorely lacks any customer service skills. This type of behaviour has happened in the past; it's not a one time event.
I agree... I got a good deal on a 1:09 tee time, $15. I arrived at 11:30am and the guys 1:09. I was practicing putting and noticed that nobody teed off for over 45 minutes as I waited!!! Why in the heck could I not start early.. I believe its because I got one of those super deals for one specific tee time.
Hi RubQue,
My name is Tyson Jacobs I am the General Manager and Superintendent here at Indian Creek Golf Course, I take great pride in our course and am very sorry and disappointed that you had a bad experience with one of my staff members. I would really appreciate it if you could call me about this incident so that I can make sure that something like this never happens to another customer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you
The one time my wife and I played here (2011) we found the same thing this review refers to ; very poor customer/people skills. That said the course itself was nice, albeit quite windy.
This course is in fine condition.
The course was in better than good condition, the staff was attentive and the golfnow.com special offer was excellent. I will be sure to try it again.
Course was in great condition for mid March
Drove up the river less than an hour from grey, cool, rainy
Gresham area and got a nice round of golf in at Indian Creek.
The greens were freshly rolled that morning so they were running fast. One plugged ball out of the four of us all day. The course is in exceptional condition for the middle of March. Great weekend price made for a solid day on the links!
Great course with some hard holes
Always alot of wind. Greens are in good shape. Always fun to play. Good food in the resturant.
got stuck behind a group of 4 rookies
Tee time last fri 11:45
i don't normally get frustrated having to wait for slow golfers but it took 5 minutes to shoot every time we got to our ball. totally ruined the tempo of the game, the rookies in question finally let us play through on the 14th hole after making us sit there all day. i was a little more than annoyed. probably won’t play there again because the course wasn't marshaled!
Great course for the value
Had a great time (except for my putting) and course in good shape
great condition
this course is a fun and challenging course, it makes you play you long irons, and if you can control them then i recommend you buy a couple extra beers.overall the course was in great shape and fun to play on, pretty wide open but in order to have a good round you need to be accurate.
Yes, great views! Although I didn't see St Helens? The mountain to the North is Mt Adams.
