Unusually good shape for this time of year.
This course is very well maintained and has excellent greens, manicured and fast. Includes nice practice/warmup facilities also. Good restaurant and pro shop staffed with friendly helpful individuals.
disappointed
We booked a tee time at Indian Creek and drove almost 2 hours to play. When we got there, we were told the course was closed due to freezing weather. since we booked the tee time on line, plus the weather forecast for the area called for sunshiine and mid-40's, I had no idea course closure was even a possibility. It wouldve been nice to know in advance. Very disappointing!
Surprised to find such a chalenging course mixed in amoung a rural city setting. I will play this course again and again.
Surprised to find such a challenging course mixed in amoung a rural city setting. I will play this course again and again.
Great Course, Great Price!
Indian Creek has something for every skill level of golfer. Beautiful views, just enough hazards, and seriously fast greens will amaze and challange every golfer. Enjoy!
Staff/Restaurant make all the difference
Not only is the staff one of the most knowledgeable and friendlies that I have been around, but the restaurant staff and food are on the same level.
The course is unique...layout is horrible.
There was a marshall on the front side of the course, but he went home while we were playing the back side, allowing play to be extremely slow. The marshall should stay until it is dark.
This is one of my favorite courses.
Beautifully maintained and well designed. This course is always a pleasure to play. The greens are well maintained and the course is challenging without being too difficult. Love this place!
very nice course
4 of us played 2 rounds, and we all are ready to play it again. A very fun course to play.
Beautiful views
This course is fun to play. Lots of interesting holes and beautiful views of Mt. Hood. It can be very windy which makes it a lot more challenging. Greens are nice. Have played this course often and always enjoy it.
Great Northwest Secret
Indian Creek has always been one of my favorites around the Portland area. It's a short course from the whites with a great variety of elevation changes and doglegs. Strategy seems to weigh more heavily on this well-kept track, ie laying up to a good approach as there are plenty of bunkers eager to swallow wayward shots. The teeth of this course comes from the wind that the gorge sees so often. 10mph wind is very common, but I've played my share of rounds when it's gusting to 25 or 30. The bunkers are great to play out of. Aside from aeration, the greens are always in fantastic shape. I'm sure some will wonder why I'm letting the secret out, but if you have to time to enjoy a great drive up the gorge, then make a tee time for sure.
