Stowe Country Club, is located in the heart of New England’s premier skiing towns, but they do great golf as well, though. The golf course at Stowe Country Club boasts undulating fairways and well-maintained greens. Built on what was once a dairy farm, the course offers a challenging but approachable round of golf. And its panoramic mountain views are a delight for all golfers. For off-course activities, head into Stowe, which boasts a range of shopping, restaurants and other activities.

Beautiful and Fun Course
My husband and I chose this course as it was the only one in the area that we could book online at the time we planned our vacation. We were very happy with the course overall. It was beautiful, very well maintained, a bit challenging and fun to play.
We however did not have a good experience with one of the members we played with. We were expected to abide by her own set of play guidelines all the while she played out of turn, walked in our line, touched our balls & clubs and walked off the green each hole before play was completed. Any day on the golf course is better than sitting behind a desk, but we were definitely frustrated by the end of the round. The other member we played with was helpful giving advise as to placement of our shots and kept the mood as light as she could.
We also played the day before, for the first time, with two other rookies to the course and we had a very enjoyable time getting to know the course and our companions.
We would definitely recommend the course to others and hope our experience with the member was an isolated event.
Walkers
Great course, BUT beware, it is basically walkers! Which makes for slow play. And if you need a cart it is an ADDITIONAL $60.00!! It wasnt clear on Teeoff!!
Picturesque Course
Beautiful golf course, great design, need to stay in the fairways. Club house, & Pro Shop staff very pleasant, great starter.

Beautiful course
Course was in fantastic shape especially since it was late July. Holes were challenging but not overly difficult. Gorgeous scenery on just about every hole. We played with some members, one of them.a starter at the course so we got some good info on how to play some of the holes. Teed off at 8 am and played 18 in 4 hours. Would definitely come back here again.

Course is in great shape with awesome, challenging greens. Love playing this course every year. Staff is very friendly. Could provide quicker service at the turn with more options. We called ahead for 2 hotdogs but had to wait for service when picking them up.

Must play course
Beautiful and challenging course - amazed the electric carts could make it up and down the hills (great carts). Staff was wonderful. Loved that two women checked us in!! If you want to see the mountain this is the course for you. Beautifully manicured course and greens (although tough to read). Must play!!!

The course is going through some renovations which is very inconvenient but understandable. They did their best to accommodate.
No signage
Nice course, very well maintained. For some unknown reason there are no signs on the tee boxes. No hole #, no distance per tee, nothing. When you complete a hole and try to find your way to next hole, no signs to direct you and, when you stumble on a tee area, you have no idea if you are on the correct tee.. lots of wandering around. Also, VERY few yardage markers on the fairways. Not sure why they operate their course this way but as a first time player I found it very frustrating. PUT SOME SIGNAGE AND MARKERS ON TJE COURSE!!

Great course in wonderful shape. Very well maintained, greens were immaculate! A little pricey but it is supply and demand, not a whole lot around.
