About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Very slow pace of play, but still fun
Played on Father’s Day, so expected to be a little slow, but it took almost five (5) hours to complete our round due to how slow it was in front of us. Greens were in rough shape (people not repairing their ball ball marks). For the price paid though, it was a good day.
The place to play
This course has everything. It’s a good course for everybody. It’s not real long. It’s in great shape fairways greens tees great price. I suggest everyone to try it. I’ll play here. Every chance I get.
Excellent greens
The course was in nice shape but I feel the fairways were cut awfully short. Greens were in real nice shape. Sand traps had plenty of sand and very playable, if you were unfortunate enough to enter them.
Mountain brook
Perfect day to be playing, professional staff, course in excellent condition.
Solid
Good condition. Only 2 issues. Bunkers. Wasn't really sand. Second, the greens rolled sell, just pretty slow.
Will go again!
Quieter out here now, tee times are easy
Love the staff out here, course was pretty decent. Some thin spots. Enjoyed the speed of the greens
Great Arizona Golf! If you have the time…
An amazing course with an amazing staff! Only problem is that our round was the longest round of golf we’ve ever played! Tee time was 10:37 and we finished at 4:00. If there was a marshall helping pace of play on course it would be a perfect 5 star course to try. Wide fairways, challenging holes, amazing greens. Give it a shot!
Good shape in transition
Course is in overall good shape. Pace of play was right at 4 hours. Staff was friendly as always.
