Celebration Golf Club

Groups were fit in between scheduled tee times that were 90 mins late bc of rain. Then the course has 6somes and then multiple singles.

As the title says, the layout is beautiful and tranquil but my god the play was so so slow. This was painful, we were a two ball who joined up with the two ball infront as we kept talking to them on the tee boxes, and when I mean tee box this was only the 3rd. The four ball infront really needed warnings about slow play but no course rangers & to comply the pain carts weren’t allowed on the actual course why? In this day and age?

The greens had obviously been relayed some stage and this was showing with wot could be described as railway lines up and down the greens but actually weren’t to bad. Still all in all it was a joy to play and admire the layout and surroundings, we all can moan but that’s usually to cover or bad rounds cause we all can’t keep blaming the clubs can we ?

This is an excellent public course that I have played a number of times in the past year. The conditions were not as good as they usually are but that maybe to the lack of rain. Greens in good condition.

Greens and tees had been spiked and sanded but and brushed in and left for the rain to wash in but ain’t any forecast, loads of excess sand on greens fringes also very untidy in other area’s. Heard so much about Celebrations Golf Course as a must play but was disappointed..

Usually this course is lush and plush. Not so much right now. The staff said it was associated with a 5” deficit of rain so far this year. Looks probably correct but as I’ve always been quite impressed by it in the past, not so much right now. Hope it gets the attention it needs and gets back to that diamond in the rough.

I would like to mention that this is my favorite course in the Orlando area - play it very often and love everything about it.

We were advised that the course had recently been punched and sanded - but boy, oh boy- the tee boxes looked horrible, fairways decent but greens were totally unplayable - massively punched out with huge lines cut all around and completely sanded - so totally unplayable and the course should absolutely be closed.

Although the fairways tees and bunkers were good, and the rough was cut short which was very good, the greens were bumpier and slower than the munis I play back home. Not acceptable at $100 for the round. The round did include a decent lunch. The driving range had a lake and floating balls—not a premium experience. Plus the range faced due east so morning golfers like me are very handicapped during warmup. The putting and chipping areas were large and well laid out but featured the same bumpy greens.

Played the course for the first time with 2 other first timers. Course was in excellent condition, particularly the greens. Challenging course with plenty of water and fast greens. Some very long par 5 holes in back nine. Liked the fact that they have Hot Deals tee times early in the morning. Will definitely come back!

Didn’t use off-course facilities but I’ve no doubt they will be excellent. Staff super friendly and course great.

We headed to Florida to golf the Disney courses when someone suggested to add Celebration to our trip. We are so glad they did. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we packed our clubs up for our trip back to Montana.The course was fun yet challenging. It was very beautiful and in great condition. A few of the water holes got me! I truly hope to golf this again and it will be a part of any Florida golf Vaca in the future.

I was recommended to play here and I’m glad I did. Course was beautiful, plenty of water and hazards. Very tough but enjoyable. Had a great round one to remember for sure.
