Aeration alert, still a great place to play.
It looked as though the white 9 greens had been punched 2-3 weeks ago, almost fully recovered. The blue 9 didn't look like it he greens had been punched. Didn't play the red 9, so cannot comment on conditions.
Perfect conditions
Great course conditions n very player friendly course layout.
ShenValley Golf Red to Blue
Both 9's were in great shape. Tee boxes were healthy which has been a struggle recently for a lot of courses recently. Fairways were in good shape, rough was fair, and the greens putted true even though they were aerated recently. Overall a very pleasant experience. I will certainly be back to play real soon.
Blue - White
Played Blue to White, course was in perfect shape and a great deal for $40. Only complaint is they overbooked tee times and we had to wait 30 mins to tee off and were grouped with 2 ransoms (which isn’t the end of the world). Great course for the value though
Only letdown was the conditions of the greens.
Overall a good course. They had obviously just aerated the greens and there was a ton of sand on them. The staff was friendly and helpful which makes up for the lack of signage indicating where to go.
Pleasantly Surprised
First visit. Seems to be a well run course. Friendly staff and.focused on keeping groups moving. Course was in great shape. Greens rolled nicely. Layout was open and not super challenging. Enjoyable round and will definitely come back. Book with confidence!
Great condition
Love to play at Shenandoah Valley GC, especially Blue course. It was hit but many shade area so good to play. Also green was so well maintained
Thank so much Enjoyed !!
Excellent course, excellent staff
This place is top notch its a shame they cant acquire the land to build another 9 to go with the 27 holes they have. Course is usually always in great shape and challenging greens. The staff and atmosphere there are what you look for in a club. From the social atmosphere and great time it is apparent everyone is always having to the gentlemen who pick your carts up from you when you finish unloading your gear at your car its a top notch place to play always.
Great Layout
First time playing here.
Course is getting a lot of play and it is holding up well.
Tight layout, precision off the tee is needed. Some blind and half blind shots, more yardage markers or more detailed pin marks would have been nice.
Great value a $33 to ride 18.
Course is in great shape
The course was in its usual excellent condition. It was very crowded, but pace of play was not bad, less than 4.5 hours. It is a bit of a drive for me, but I would rather make the drive than pay the inflated rates that courses in the DC area are charging. It seems like there are fewer deals being offered by these courses as well. So, I guess I will be spending more time traveling to Front Royal.
Great Day. Course terrific except for slow greens.
I love this course. Today the greens were very slow, even downhill.
Our foursome played 18 fabulous holes in less than four hours. Every thing was great until we entered the Grill Room (where NOBODY was sporting facial covering). We left and had drinks elsewhere.
