Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club

The course was in great shape other than few bunkers that had water due to the heavy rain a day earlier. Greatly designed course with lots of bunkers and good combination of long and short holes. Pace of play was good and the practice facility was fantastic. Starter/staff were very nice as well. Only negative thing I can point out was that the beverage cart person was not available where we needed it the most. Overall, it was a very enjoyable round for all of us who played.

This was my second time playing the course and I found the condition of the tees, fairways and greens were good. The staff was excellent from the inside to the outside. They appear to be doing some bunker renovation as it looked like some of them had new sand but most of them were totally unplayable. Once that process is finished the course will be in very good shape and worthy of the accolades it has been given. Overall it is still a good course to play.

The setting is beautiful. The staff was perfect the day we played. The grounds and course are pretty well maintained. The only knocks on the place I can give are the traps and the greens. The traps are pretty heavily silted. The problems on the greens have nothing to do with the course. Seriously people... repair a ball mark now and again. The lack of conciencious golfers is the only problem with the greens. We played for $44.00 each at 2:15pm through GolfNow. Warm up balls on the range are free with green's fee. The food and beverage prices are a little steep at $4 for domestic beer, $4.50 for imported and $2.00 for a 1.5 ounce bag of Lay's chips. I declined to try the $5.00 hotdog. Overall though I really enjoyed my trip here for the $60 I spent.

I was paired with two individuals and we were moving very quickly through the first 4 hole, but then a foursome two groups in front was unbelievably slow. On every hole starting at number 5 we had to wait a prolonged period of time. There was no one pushing this foresome to move faster, so the experience on this course was not very good. In addition, the fairways were in very good shape and the greens were in good shape, but the majority of the sand traps were unplayable. It may have been due to the recent rains we experienced. In some, there was standing water and where they were dry the ground was hard as a a rock and very uneven. For the price of a round, one would expect a faster round and decent sandtraps

This was my first time playing Raspberry Falls, and my experience was wonderful. From the moment I got there, I was made to feel very welcome. I do have to say I have never been to a course where there are already balls ready at the driving range stations! The driving range is well kept, the chipping green is very useful although I did not use it, and the putting green is also well manicured. The main thing I would say is just put the ball in the fairway! The rough is challenging! If I had to be nit picky about anything, i would say it was the lack of distance markers on the par 3s. With tees being moved around, this would have been beneficial. But that's just being picky. The tee boxes were well groomed and the fairways and greens were immaculate. Beverage cart girl was around and the food in the clubhouse at the turn was good. Teed off at 11 as a 3some and we were done around 3ish. We were taking our time as it was not busy. The view on the 18th tee is stunning. Might be worth it to hit a shot from the back tees just for laughs! An all-around good day, and I will be back in the future. Paid $50 for 18 with a cart...no complaints there. Played from the blue tees and the ~6300 yards was an adequate challenge. Shot an 88.

Course is beautiful and the views are amazing! Course is very challenging from the blue tees, and just for fun I hit a drive from #18 black tees. Greens are tough but fair and fast. Sand and rough is tough, but it is a links course.

Good course. Thought the tee area had many divots. Perhaps markers should have been moved.

Great lay-out in good condition despite the recent downpours. Bunkers were muddy and some flooded but fortunately I avoided them. Greens were nice but marked up from animals and rude golfers not repairing pitch marks. But rolled nicely and little problem smoothing putting lines. Great scenery with the 18th tee the best spot on the course. Definitely will go back again as this is a top notch facility.

The layout and condition of this course are always top notch. I play this course 3-5 times per year and have had nothing but great experiences until a small hiccup yesterday. Usually you are greeted in the parking lot and they load up your cart for you but this didn't happen, no big deal until the starter threw us attitude for seemingly no reason. Chalk it up to one bad experience and the rest of the round was fantastic.

Course was in excellent condition. The greens had ball divots and that was to be expected as this course gets heavy public and tournament use. But seeing I was one of the early morning rounds, the grounds crew should be tending to these and rolling the greens. But overall the layout, scenery, and challenging layout made this course a lot of fun.

Course was in overall good conditions except for the greens. A tournament had played in the morning and the greens showed it. So many ball marks and spike marks hard to really think it was from one day. You could see some pin placement moves that seemed to only be a few feet making some areas of the green just beat down. Everything else with the exception of one bunker was great as always.

I had played Raspberry Falls in 2004 and figured it was time to return and I was not disappointed. The course was wet from heavy rains the day before but had dried well enough where you could still take carts into most fairways. The traps were in rough shape as mentioned in previous reviews but overall the course was well worth the money I paid on golf now.

We had a good day of play, but wet, and enjoyed the course. Lovely open course running through the community at Raspberry Falls. The women's tees make it possible to reach the par fours and a few par fives in regulation.

Overall this course was in good shape and a very nice layout. Lack of GPS and a couple of holes that are hard to know how to play for first timers was an issue. Another annoyance was the inability to drive a cart to the driving range, or to the first tee (or anywhere) until the starter shows up and provides a key to the cart. I was left sitting in the cart in the parking lot until after my designated tee time when finally someone showed up and provided the key. This might have been less annoying if someone had explained that procedure in advance, but no-one did. Pace of play was a full 5 hours with an 8:30 tee time which I thought was slow. In spite of these issues I enjoyed the round and will likely go back, but staff could have mitigated any problems with an explanation for first timers.

I played the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and was expecting a slower round, but was pleasantly surprised. We had a quick round and the course was in great shape. I had zero complaints with the afternoon and would recommend Raspberry to anyone.

I think this is largely a "neighborhood course" but you're talking about a neighborhood of homes that were all well into the 1M range. it's a big, open course mostly, a hitters' course though it helps to stay between the berms on either side of the fairway. It has a few really interesting tee-shots off the side of a cliff :) you're up there like a cliff-diver smacking the ball 350 yards to the fairway 200 yards below. I would absolutely not want to walk this course unless I was both in good shape and a masochist.

The clubhouse is quite nice, really. I would guess that Royal St. George sends over a guy now and then just to take notes :) it's not all that impressive from the outside but inside it's very nice. A good solid bar, nice lounge and a good dining-room, not shabby at all.

What a fantastic course to play on. Great fairways and greens, pace of play was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone.

Course was in great condition and staff was fantastic. 5 hour round but on Friday before a holiday weekend it was expected. American flags on all holes was a nice touch.

Wide fairways, big and fast greens, and deep bunkers. Challenging course from gold or black tees.
