About
Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club offers the traditional links course reminiscent of those found in the British Isles, situated amidst Virginia's horse country. The club gets its name from the land's former use, a raspberry field. The scenic terrain overlooks to Catoctin Mountains and there are still a few raspberry bushes dotting the course. By far the layout's most formidable challenges come from the deep, stacked pot bunkers that make it truly feel like a classic Scottish golf course. There are also water hazards on a few holes. The course's signature is the par-4 third hole, which is long but plays downhill all the way. The 10th hole, another par 4, is one of the toughest. The landing area is generous off the tee but there is a creek and pond to the left and fairway bunkers on the right.

Raspberry Falls
Overall I like the course. A bit pricey for the course. I would suggest the staff make a strong recommendation at the first tee to have players fix their ball marks on the greens. Seems like no one felt it was necessary to fix them.
Very enjoyable!
The course is great as usual. We just happened to be playing on a day after the greens were aerated and top dressed making putting pretty rough. Other than that, top notch golf course in a couple weeks again! I will be back!

This is an excellent designed course that is very forgiving considering the amount of trees all over. We will definitely be back. Beautiful course!
Great course, even in the rain.
Managed to avoid most of the rain that was forecast when I played RF with my beginner grandson. Surprisingly, we were permitted to 90 degree cart access. Even damp, the greens were quick and had plenty of break. Bring your A game to have success on these immaculate undulating greens. Since it’s very early in the year some edges of the fairways haven’t grown in completely but mostly they were lush and freshly mowed. Bunkers are a special feature at RF, often with steep stacked sod faces, they were the primary defense to the rather soft and large greens. It was almost a joy to be in one and test your skills, almost.. Many tee boxes let you dial in your favored length. In addition to a great layout and beautiful club house the friendly staff and affordable rate makes Raspberry Falls one of my favorite Northern Virginia courses.
Overall Good
I saw a a lot of bad reviews and I cannot follow that trend due to the fact it was March and conditions are still winter type. I thought the layout was fun and would love to see what the summer conditions will be. It is a bit expensive for this time of year. The conditions would have to be immaculate to pay over $100+ for a round
Great Layout
I’m new to the area and have seen a lot of negative reviews but I truly enjoyed the course for Mid March. The layout is great and I’m sure with a little TLC the course would be great. I would like to play it when it’s in top shape. Staff was great and the overall golf was also great.

I am first time be this course. It is beautiful layout, staff is very friendly, good service . pro shop is very clean and organize. I meet a few nine golfer which help out for first time here. I love this course , but it is a little bit far from where I live. however I will come back to play sometime. High recommendation to everyone .
