Good value
Great layout and good fairways. Greens a little rough but ok. I’d play again.
Quick greens, tough hills
Tough test with Greens that were hard to hold and mighty fast
A fun afternoon
I like the course. Some greens were spotty but not terrible. I enjoyed the day.
Nice layout
Have been playing flat coastal courses and really enjoyed the elevation changes at Timber Creek. A good mixture of doglegs. Staff extremely pleasant. My only complaint would be the condition of some of the greens - weeds starting to creep in. Overall I found it to be a good value and will return next winter.
Greens getting away from them
The greens have begun to have a lot of weeds coming up. I hate this has happened because it’s such a nice course otherwise. The greens keeper has his work cut out for him to get the greens back
Nice course
The course condition and layout, combined with the staff friendliness leads to quite a nice round of golf.....
Great course, challenging and great course condition
Terrific course, challenging for all levels.
Fairly tight course. Need to be straight. Some shot making. Greens are fast. Empliyees are guilty of being very friendly. They are their to make sure your golf experience is positive.
I would play again. Condition was just as great as when I played in November.
Nice course
Play the Pines 9 first to get warmed up for the Magnolia 9.
Greens
Some of the greens on the front 9 were in poor condition. Over all the course was in pretty good shape. I enjoyed play here except for the slow foursome in front of us. I am planning to play it again before we head down the road next week.
Excellant value
The course was great for the price. The course layout is varied and challenging, yet very playable. Greens have lots of breaks and are overall difficult. However it also made them interesting and fun to put on. I would definitely recommend the course for the average to good golfer. Their are 5 tees so it may be playable for everyone.
Unfortunately most of the greens had just been top dressed so they were not putting very smooth. Pin placements were also questionable ?
Interesting layout
Had a great day. Tee off at 11:30 and never saw a soul after that except the cart girl. Both nines were in great shape for the time of year and the layouts were really fun and interesting. Excellent day!!!
