Goose Pond Colony Resort - Lake Course

Wonderful course! Second time playing, but it's an absolutely amazing course! Pace of play would have been better had I not got stuck behind 12 ladies ahead. Not the norm for the course.. Best club sandwich I have ever had, staff was amazing as always. Conditions: tranquil, beautiful, well maintained with no flaws. Greens roll well, breathtaking water views and elevations. You won't find better around Huntsville area.

I enjoy playing the lake course . It is one of my favorites. The staff is friendly. The practice area is top notch. Carts are nice. The only thing that was a negative is the hamburger plate that is served in the deli is pricey & the burger patty is mostly made with soy product that made my son up chuck and my stomach very queezey.

We absolutely loved The Lake course at Goose Pond! Such a beautiful area, each hole offered a gorgeous view.. The fairways were in such good condition and the greens were just awesome. Best course we have played in the Huntsville area.

Nice playable links style course. Fantastic Mini Verde greens. Like the play it forward tee choices. Hottest day of the year but had great time. Very walkable course in better weather.

Excellent course for the value, conditions were perferct and the greens were perfect! Enjoyed this course greatly!

The greens weren't perfect but still very playable. That's only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Love to play this course so I will be returning.

I had a great round and the weather was beautiful. The greens could use a little more water (difficulty in sticking longer shots).

The golfnow discount made it even better!

Had a wonderful time. We showed up early and the gentleman behind the counter let us go an hour before our t time. The Marshal (ranger) was very friendly and told us the problem areas of certain holes. Even enjoyed a hot dog and cold beer afterward Would recommend this course to everyone! Beautiful view of the lake!!

I've played this course a number of times and enjoyed every game very much. The course is in great shape due to excellent maintenance, friendly staff and a good snack bar.

My husband and I played and loved this course. We plan to play again next time we are in the area.

The Course was in excellent shape! Pace of Play for Weekend Play was Perfect! Marshall easily visible to encourage golfers to keep up with the pace of play! The Snack Bar/Grill accommodates even the finicky patrons. The staff was very outgoing and friendly! I would recommend this facility to anyone! I will be returning on a regular basis! Great job!

Greens were not bad based on time of year. Had a lot of rain so fairways were very wet all in all not a bad deal
