Great condition
The course was in great condition. Most of the tee boxes were looking good. Some minor crabgrass around the green. The greens were an excellent shape in rolled true to form. Pace of play was average. Had a great time

Will be back
Course layout is mostly straight holes. A couple carries over water but nothing difficult. The rough is fairly thin so hard to loose a ball in it. Its not punishing but get a little bit off the fairways and you’re likely dealing with trees in a addition to the rough. It’s a long course. Greens were in pretty good shape and like most courses- fix your ball marks PLEASE!!!

Incredibly slow weekday play!
This course needs better Marshall course management!
Single players not paired up with doubles and golfers waiting until players were on the green for par 4 and 5 holes!
We did complain to the Marshall on the course as we were waiting on every single hole due to slow play!
However the price especially for Seniors during the week can't be beat! And the course is in great shape, probably why it's so popular!
Great Course
Course was in really good shape and will definitely play here again. Only issue is the gnats were really frustrating on some of the holes. Not sure what if anything can be done.
disappointed in the course!
we were rained out and the course would not issue us a rain check since they said we booked through tee off - the rules say if we started then the course is suppose to issue the rain check we stopped after 9 due to lightning and thunder! sure would be nice if courses knew the policy instead of sending us away.

Good conditions
Course in good shape, greens are in excellent shape. Greens are rolling with a little speed but tire. Fairways are nice a green.

Nice local county course
Algonkian has a nice layout, mature trees and the greens and fairways are in great shape. Pace is a bit slow and there wasnt a marshall to be seen. But, overall i like it!

Horrible staff
Kids need to learn the game of golf. I’ve been to many courses in the area that allowed me to bring my 2 sons on the cart with me. They were not accommodating at all and the manager was horrible.
How about you walk with your kids and let them learn the way most junior golfers do? I hate when keyboard warriors badmouth a great business because they didn't get their way!
We are sorry your experience was not what you had hoped for. Our first concern is for the safety of our customers. Per our lease agreement and the manufacturer's safety guidelines we cannot allow more than 2 individuals in a cart at one time.
Algonkian Was What It Was
Although pace of play was absolutely horrible & to make matters even worse temperatures were brutally HOT, overall the round was on the up swing & we finished before the rain storm & darkness set in! So it’s all good as another fully completed round!
