Great Course Friendly Staff Short on Gas
I’ve plated this course many many times for a number of years. Very challenging, well maintained. Fun to play. Now requires you must share a cart, with someone you know or not.
I thought course was not in the best of shape.
Tee boxes were rock hard, tough to get a tee in the ground.
Grass off of fairway was tall and had so many dandelions that it was hard to find my ball.
Many greens look like winter kill or a fungus.
Fairways were probably the best part.
I have played this course many times over the years.
I will wait a month or so and come back and see how it is then.
The reason I answered “no” to if you would refer to a friend is I would not at this time.
Nice course, has character
Some wide open holes, some very narrow tee shots, fast greens. Course was in very good shape. I really enjoyed playing at this course, however I shot my highest score in many years. But i would definitely like to play it again. Wouldn't recommend this course for beginners. They do have a separate par 3, 9 hole course...looks nice, but didn't play it.

Won’t be back
Staff was grumpy. Very slow pace. No beverage cart. Scorecard could help to explain course for new players. Kind of quirky course if you ask me.
Dead grass on greens dandelions on The fairway??!! Really??!
Absolutely horrible course!! I've been reviewing Minnesota courses now for over 2 years and I've never experienced poor conditions like this in my life! It started with getting there with plenty of time so I could practice putting. I get to the practice putting green and at least 40% of it had dead burnt spots all over it. Guess I should have known that, that was what was to come for the day. I don't believe a single green was in prestige condition. All 18 greens had dead black spots all over them! It made pudding for the day in possible! You would have to move your ball out of the deadline otherwise your ball would be bouncing all over the place and you would never make a putt!! Of course layout and design is very interesting the front nine is pretty much wide open but the back nine is where you need to bring your A game. This would be an absolute wonderful course if the conditions were up to par for what I paid. I paid over $90 for two people to play this course and after playing it I don't think I would have paid $15 per person for the condition it was in!! A total waste of money I'm sure for that price there are multiple courses around the area that would be much much better!! A real disappointment for this golf reviewer and professional golf instructor!! Just sad to see a beautiful course going to crap!! I will not play here again until I hear that they fixed all the holes! Please save your money and go somewhere else!! Ohh and their pro shop is not a pro shop!! They sell 1 yes 1 kind of ball and it's about good enough to give to a beginner!! It was just a really really disappointing day! The only good part of the day was when I was loading up to leave I returned the cart key to the beautiful young lady who was working there at the time and she complimented me about my shirt an outfit that I was wearing and she made me feel really good about myself! So I would like to thank that young lady who is working there when I left and complimented me. Thank you young lady you made my day!
