Never disappoints!
Little burn out but too be expected this time of year. Greens were fast and true.
Very Dry, wonderful greens
Extremely dry, even for this time of year. Some of my shots would hit the fairway and bounce like it had hit the cart path. Like the layout and the greens are very good. (a little bumpy) I was lucky and was playing in a nice pocket of nobody in front of me and nobody behind me. But i later realized that was because the group behind me was playing at a painfully slow pace, (like 4 holes behind) Overall a good course i just think it has more potential.
Needs Water Bad
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the course is in super bad need of water. Most fairways are brown with lots of dead grass and bare spots. Greens are in fairly good condition. A huge rainstorm or some irrigation water would turn this course into something much more fun to play.
Dry and hard
The fairways were baked right out, needs water badly. Barely any green grass to play off of, when there was it was still too hard underneath to take a divot. Too bad, it left a bad impression on me. I played it before and it was lush and green and quite enjoyable. Conditions like that, you need to be able to pick it clean, which I was managing to do after a while. But not the game I like to play.
Greens & staff
Greens roll true & ALL the staff are super friendly & nice. Will return when time allows.
Great Course!
Almost there
Did some tree thinning and it looks great. Very good shape for this time of year. Greens are firm and fast. About 2 more mowings and it will be tight.
Always in good shape and great staff
Avalon is a great course, offering 3 different nine hole layouts. It’s always well maintained no matter the time of year. The staff is always very friendly. I’d recommend this course to anyone, especially in your birthday when your round is free!
