About
Designed by Rees Jones, Broad Run Golfer's Club boasts one of the best layouts in the area. The course sprawls across over 370 acres of rolling hills countryside. The dramatic elevations are definitely not something you would expect from a golf course that is conveniently situated so close to downtown Philadelphia. The elevated tees feel as though they're in the clouds and mature trees frame most of the holes. There are hazards lurking throughout the golf course including swampy marshlands and tall, dense grasses that are all just waiting to swallow errant shots. It is a challenging layout no doubt but it is made more player friendly with generous fairways and Jones was also light on the bunkering. One of the most difficult and scenic holes is the par-5 15th. This hole plays uphill, featuring a blind tee shot to a plateau green surrounded by trees.

Wait for awhile
Traps are being repaired (thats a good thing), greens were bad even for winter golf not worth it
They have to lower their prices
Every course is almost booked out tomorrow for weekend golf. These guys have a wide open Tee sheet. Nobody’s playing this course for $110
Too pricey for winter conditions
I've played Broad Run many times and it's a nicely maintained and challenging public course. But I was very disappointed paying a premium winter season price for a course with sand traps under repair and temporary tee box locations. It was cart path only. too. It's understandable to have these course conditions during the winter season, but the price should be lowered due to the greatly diminished golf experience.

Great Course
Course was in very good condition and is very challenging. Only negatives were bunkers need some sand, but expected at end of season and they were rebuilding several of them. Also, there were many leaves and "helicopter" tree seeds on greens which they could have done more to clear, but somewhat expected for time of year.. Play was about 5 hours due to full course, leaf issues and very long distance between some holes.. Still one of the best courses in the area. Not recommended for beginners or high handicap players.
BRGC
One of the prettiest courses I’ve ever played. The fall leaves in full plumage helps, but fairways and greens are immaculate. Highly recommend and hope to come back. Pace of play was very slow but didn’t mind much as the views made up for it.
Challenging course in great shape
Very nice course with great vistas. Greens roll true and are quick, fairways in great shape. BEWARE THE ROUGH:)
Just a pure course. Beautiful layout, and in great conditions. Greens are fast and receptive, tee boxes are well kept, and fairways. Loved this course and worth the extra money if you are serious about golf.
Top Area Course
Broad Run is definitely in the upper echelon of Philadelphia/ Wilmington area public courses. The layout is fun but can be very taxing if you don’t hit fairways and greens. Miss a green wide and you’ll find yourself standing on a 30% slope chipping downhill. Some incredible vistas and downhill shots make the round very memorable. Conditions are fantastic. If you can play this course for $70 or less you’re doing pretty well for your money.
Visually beautiful course
My first time playing the course it was in really good condition the pace of play was good. It was nice to play a course on the hill tops of West Chester.
