Applecross
This course was in excellent condition. Greens were a bit rough with un-repaired ball marks and somewhat slow but expected with recent hot weather.
Sending out singles, twosome and threesomes randomly doesn’t help much for pace of play either. We had a threesome behind us who was offered multiple times to play thru but instead chose to wait for every shot and make us hustle. Was super annoying and irritating.
Great play
Fun layout and can be very difficult at times with elevated greens and tight fairways
Unexpected great course
Decided to play a round of golf on Fourth of July last minute. Found a round available at Apple Cross which I did not realize had openings for the public. Had a great day and really enjoyed the course. Definitely planning to come back
day at Applecross
Course conditions were excellent. Greens were great to putt on. If you read it and stroked it right it went in the hole. Rough was plush and weed free. Enjoyable day. Won 7 ways so that helps.
Country Club vibes
Beautiful day at Applecross CC. Conditions were excellent. Played with some cool guys at just over 4 hours. Driver not needed on every non-par 3.Accuracy a premium. Amenities were great too. Will be back before the season is over and hopefully bring some buddies with me.
Great track, well maintained
We played this course on Father’s Day, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Everyone that we came across was very friendly. Course was in great shape, even though there was rain all week. Greens were fast, but manageable. Nice open fairways.Would love to play it again.
Like the course - pace of play killed it this time out.
Great course and being semi-private it’s generally a great afternoon. I don’t know why but pace of play was atrocious this day. After 4 holes at 20 mins each I bailed. I can handle a 4.5hr round but not 5+.
Worth the price!
Course was in fantastic shape, the pro shop employees were super friendly and gave us great information about the lay out before playing. Greens rolled amazing. Just fantastic overall well worthy the rate of you can even get a tee time. Cannot wait to go back.
Challenging layout with great eye appeal
Played the course as a guest in steady rain and it held up well. The staff were great and very welcoming. Long round due to conditions but that was on us. Highly recommend for anyone who gets a chance.
