Greens were horrible
The greens were the absolute worst I played this year. Someone at the course said that they had recently arrated, but there was no sign of holes. However, the greens were so slow that it was not enjoyable. You could not hit the putts that hard and stay accurate. Not worth the money they charged for those greens.
full price for aerated greens
extremely disappointed that they didn't advertise or advise that the greens were punched the week before. I paid full price in the clubhouse without a word of warning and then, to my surprise, see the aerated greens. You should not charge full price for that.
Great course but cart paths are in horrible condition
Great golf course and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the course only gets 4 stars because the cart paths are horrible and need to be replaced or at least repaired. Pot holes and missing asphalt everywhere.
D-town
Jaws sure knows how to ruin a golf course.
Tees were like bad fairways only shaggier.
Downingtown used to have the best greens around. Not anymore. Really slow rolling and nobody fixing ball marks.
This is NOT a $100 experience.
Give it up Jaworski.
Great shape compared to other courses
Greens were running at a good speed after being super slow throughout the summer. Some rough and uneven teeboxes mostly on par 3s. Aside from that great course.
Still just fine
The course is okay. 13 was in pretty bad shape. many of the tee boxes are super slanted so it’s hard to find a level spot to tee off. It’s overpriced but so is everything in this area.
100$ cow pasture
Not impressed for the price . Not suprised though.
Lowest Round of My Life
Had a great round and shot my lowest round ever, 76. Weather was perfect, and the course was in good shape. We got lucky as a threesome as a foursome let us play through, so we had a sub 4-hour round. I like the layout of the course and believe it is a walkable course. Only quirk is you have to play 11 holes to get to the "turn". They resolved a scoring issue since I played there last where they turned a long par 4 into a short par 5 and a short par five to a reasonable length par 4. Makes for a better course in my opinion.
Greens are too slow
The greens were painfully slow. A 7 on the stimp according to one of the rangers driving around. I'll cut some slack for other conditions at a public course, but not when it comes to the greens. I would not play this course again because of the greens, even at a reduced price.
Course condition
The layout is fun to play. The staff is great.
Many of the tee boxes are not graded flat so it's difficult to find a level lie.
The greens are super slow and not rolled so when you play here it will be a very different game.
They tried to maintain sand in the multitude of bunkers but it's quite hard underneath which makes for unfair play. The bunkers are well situated but in need of attention.
Nice course
Very nice course in good condition. Pace of play was excellent.
