About
Blue Heron Golf Course, formerly known as Carnation Golf Course, first opened in 1967 but underwent a major renovation, in addition to the name change, after it was bought in 2011. Located in the Snoqualmie Valley, the course would occasionally be overrun by the Snoqualmie River but thanks to improved drainage and irrigation features added in the renovation, the course is able to drain remarkably fast. At just a few yards shy of 6,000 yards, Blue Heron G.C. is on the shorter side but that is no indication of its level of difficulty. Golfers will face a variety of challenges including an abundance of bunkers strategically placed throughout. One of the toughest holes is the par-5 17th, which is a blind tee shot where a long iron might come in more handy than a driver.

Nice value
If you are in the valley, this is a decent track and a good value. Close to the river so not the greatest early season condition, but a great track to work out the early season kinks in your swing.
Fairways and greens were great!!
Blue herons staff has done a great job with the course over the last few months. When it’s not wet, the course plays great.

Beautiful little course
It's not very long, it's not very tough, but it's the scenery is gorgeous and the course is in great shape. With Covid, the Pro Shop is closed, but the staff at the restaurant and bar are taking care of things, and that works just fine. As others have noted, the course is a little shaggy (long rough and slow greens), but it's lush and consistent.
Had great weather, a very enjoyable round and would love to come back. Definitely recommended.

Trending in the right direction!
A great value golf course with a challenging layout. Playing much nicer this Spring than it did in the Fall and Winter. The course has been seriously cleaned up over the last few months. Like most courses, they cut the grass and leave it on the fairways. They don’t collect or blow the grass away. Also, don’t play in the morning if you don’t want lawn mowers driving up and down your fairways on every shot.

Good Spring Walk
Tees were hard and ragged. Greens were punched and sanded. Fairways and rough were in good order. Skyler was very nice and accommodating on the 19th hole.

Great little course
Beautiful scenic little course. Great for playing with family and friends etc. fun quiet course. Great value for the money.

The course is not good for water. Working hard to improve area with bush removal and opening up the course

When I played they only The front 9 was open and only allowed the 9 holes even though the Deal paid for 18 holes
