Fun course, good greens.
They do a pretty good job keeping this course in playable shape, not an easy task in the middle of an extended stretch of very hot and very dry weather. Really wish they’d put at least one yardage plate on all par 3 tee boxes. This is a pet peeve I have with every course.
Not bad
Greens were fast! Being in the rough was rough the few times I was there, ground hard as a rock with not much grass to swing your club through, not a bad little course though!
Meridian Sun Golf July 4th
Staff was very friendly and course was well maintained especially since we have been in a very hot stretch of weather. Will definitely head back and play there again.
Solid all around
Had a great time. Good bang for your buck. Only negatives ive had here is it seems to flood easy and a train passing by a few holes. If you can get past that course is challenging enough to have a great time.
Outdated
First off, booked tee time through GolfNow a week in advance. Showed up and was told that this course didn’t work well with the app and they didn’t have my tee time. Then was told I should have just gone on their website and not GolfNow. I would have never found it without the app since I live 1 hr + away.
Not enough parking spots. Not enough carts to keep to the rule of 1 per cart.
Course was fair overall, need to pick up lawn trimmings more and the sign when you enter has a letter falling off, take care of that it is embarrassing.
Meridian Sun
Booked for 2 on Golf Now. Had two more decide to join the day of tee off..We did not know that there was an outing scheduled within 3 hours of us starting. Because were behind a couple of walking groups we were not able to complete the round in time for the Outing to start. The Staff was very apologetic, and accommodating for the issue, The course was in great shape, and really enjoyed it. We will be back!
What?
I bought my round through the app, then something came up at the last minute and wasn’t going to be able to make it. I called to clubhouse as a courtesy so they could move the queue along and was told that it was just as well because the club tournament was that day and they were going to have to “move me around”
WHY would you sell tee times during a tournament? Is my time not valuable too? I paid to play 18 holes from 1-18 at a certain time; what makes you think it’s okay to “move me around”? Too much GOOD golf in this town to waste my time with this course anymore.
Decent course, incooperative staff
First time playing here. Got to the course 20 min before my tee time, noticed there was rain coming in so I asked if I could just reschedule. Understandably the man in the clubhouse said no as it wasn't actually raining yet. So I said ok I'll see how far I can get. Then he wouldn't send me out since he wanted to see if anyone else would show up to pair me with. This would be ok if it was a busy morning, but there were 4 other cars in the lot. So I waited about 10 min and then he let me off. I get thru a handful of holes and it starts pouring so I head in. The same guy in the clubhouse tells me he can't help me I'll need to talk to Golfnow for a raincheck. I didn't even want my money back, just a raincheck. Instead of just giving me one, he guaranteed I never come back to this course. First impressions are important.
Nice track
The course was in wonderful condition considering the lack of rain lately.
