Falcon Golf Course

It's 3:30 pm on Saturday, only the other player around other than us. Pretty good!

It's a good place to start playing golf. The course is pretty easy. But the carts are old and driving between holes was Ruff.

Love this course, i play it 2-3 times weekly to improve my game without costing me a leg. Great staff and great course layout. No cart path but that doesn’t bother me as i usually walk.

This is a short 9 hole course situated in a large field around new build housing. While there aren’t many trees, there are a lot of reeds, cattails, water and geese. That means two things.... goose poop and bugs! The roughs are Rough! Long and thick with many holes perfect for losing a lot of balls! There are a lot of hills making driving the golf cart thrilling but bumpy. The clubhouse is tiny and has limited amenities (no alcohol but you can bring your own.) Its a good deal for the money and I’d play it again, but I would pack bug repellant! (Also there are no outhouses on the course so drink wisely!)

Place is never busy and always in great condition, hidden gem!

Played The Falcon on Labor day and it was horrible. The course was in horrible shape as the fairways were like sponges (and we haven't had rain in forever) and were half dead. There were mole traps all over the place and the greens had a lot of dead spots. I have played here before and it wasn't nearly that bad. Your pace of play gets slowed dpwn tremendously with the kickball golfers that share all of the holes with you. Being associated with Eagle Eye and Hawk Hollow I expected more, but I have played farm courses that were better. Save your money and play the putt putt at Hawk Hollow....

This course is built on top of a bog. This means that the ground is very spongy and is incredibly rough. It was miserable to drive a golf cart around the course even the "cart paths" were awful. there aren't really fairways either, just shorter rough. There are also randomly placed mole traps around that you have to be mindful of. I would recommend skipping this coarse all together. I really wish I could get a refund on this one.

Nice short course. Good practice course for those new to golf or for practice w/your irons

Played on this challenging, fun, links-style layout after work. Played in 1.5 hours. Only payed 10 bucks. And was home in time for dinner. I know its only a par 31, but from the back tees it might be the toughest 9 in Lansing in relation to par. I will be back.

more people should play this course to enhance their game

I enjoyed playing here because it only consists of par 3&4's. It gives you a chance to work on your short game and is great if you are looking for a quick round.

The Falcon is a Links style course so there is ample landing room on the fairways and greens. Which makes for a very enjoyable round of golf without the headaches of having to carry 240 just to hit a playable fairway shot. It was a surprisingly beautiful course and would be good for a quick round or a mixed skill event where broad appeal and enjoyment are the main goals.

The Falcon was not what I expected. Very well kept but no mature trees and short holes. However, because I am a horrible golfer, this was perfect! I would go again.

The course was in really rough shape. It needs to be rolled drastically. Greens were in good shape for this time of year

This is a nine hole course that is a great walk. It is so lush the ground is like a sponge. Fabulous for stretching out your calves while you're pushing your cart. I like the walk. It's an executive course, no par 5s. I play from the blue just to add a bit of length and work on my hybrids. I need a lot of work.

they have no facilities here at all. It's a shack basically. But we like it.

Mole city. So bumpy I need to go to the chiropractor.

Very lush and well maintained. If you understand what this course is...... i.e. do your homework. I cant see any areas of complaint. Leave your driver behind any go play.
