Really enjoyed this course
Not too difficult will play again friendly staff and good pace of play
Great, well kept course
Great green course in the middle of marysville. Plays well, fun hazards..
Was in good shape for the dry conditions.
Easy course to play. Greens were in great shape.:)
A great layout with plenty of sloping tree lined fairways, & at par 70 it plays longer/more challenging then expected.
I played the course in the afternoon on a beautiful sunny week day in late July. The parking lot looked busy, but most players were several holes out. I started as a riding single and played the first nine in just under 1.5 hours. I joined a two-some on the tenth and played the back 9 in about 2 hours, with only moderate waiting,
I last played this course in the early 80's and I only remembered a few holes. I usually play the tees closed to 6400 yards (Par 72), so I chose the back tees. I was expecting more of a "fun" round, but at par 70 the course plays longer then I expected, and, there was plenty of challenge. It is a great layout with slight doglegs both left and right, sloping fairways, and uphill and downhill shots - and lots of big mature trees. Both par 5's are reachable in 2 for the big hitters, but both require long and well positioned tee shots. On the other hand the par 3's are all in the 170 to 185 range, and can play close to 200, depending on wind, elevation, and tee placement.
My afternoon "fun" round turned into more challenge than I expected. This is a great little (or not so little) test of golf, and I can't wait to play it again. Most other players were walking, but there's a lot of up and down on this course and I would not recommend walking unless you're fairly fit. The greens and Tees were all good to great, but there were a lot of un-repaired divots in the fairways (the power carts had sand bottles, but most players didn't use power carts). With a little better care by the players, and a little fairway maintenance, this would be a GREAT little course. As it is, it was an extremely GREAT value.
Fun Times
I'll absolutely golf here again. Easy access from I-5, had a burger at Bob's, afternoon tee time, and back to Bob's. Course played well, and with a tournament going on, we had no one in front of us, and no one behind us. First time that I've had a cart, and not had to hold up and wait. Def worth trying.
Great rates
I enjoy this course very much. I play here 2 times a week during summer months. I also like the new menu in the restaurant. Great food and friendly staff.
Cedarcrest needs some work...
Unfortunately, Cedarcrest has really gone downhill over the past couple of years. I don't know why the maintenance of it has fallen to the wayside (i.e., rocky bunkers, fairways still retain clumps of grass from last mowing, greens not well cared for). It has always been a favorite of our courses, but playing it recently and seeing all the maintenance issues they seem to have, cause me to play elsewhere. Hopefully they'll put a bit more $$ into maintaining it. If I feel this way, you can be sure others do as well.
Course was in good condition
The course is very fair. If you make a bad shot, you pay for it. Sometimes you may get lucky and bounce off a tree back into the fairway. The greens are challenging and in very good condition. When we were there the grounds crew was installing a pump by the 7th tee box. They are always keeping the course in the best playing condition. We always enjoy playing there.
Good Course!
Good course, cordial players, challenging here and there, makes you think about your shots. Course management a pluse.
course is ideal for average golfer!
Course is one of the better public courses, well maintained
good greens, good layout, not a ball eater. Playing from the
blues is not that much more difficult and its almost like playing a different course.
Nice layout...a bit short.
Played on crowded afternoon. Greeted in pro shop by cordial staff member who served us efficiently and allowed me to demo two clubs. Only complaint...dress code enforcement. Majority of players were in sport shorts and tank tops. Others were in denim. If you have a dress code enforce it.
Nice course
Great course for a beginning golfer or a seasoned veteran. Has some driveable par 4's and a chance for an eagle on the short par 5's.
Greens are in excellent condition and the course is well maintained.

Course is forgiving.
The course was very forgiving on the day that I played. The weather was great, pace of play was good. Course was in good condition.
Great Course Play
The course was great to play with a very friendly staff. The only issue experienced is that the group playing behind my party was rushing everyone to finish and wouldn't play through. A Marshall presence would have helped, but for the cost the course a steal of a deal!
Muni golf course
Relatively short course with a good design taking advantage of hills and wetlands. Course was in good condition. Only issues are that the course runs along a busy Marysville street - and you're likely to be surrounded by drunk Marysville residents. Probably a Doak 2.
The vcourse is playing well. The greens are in great shape
Played twice this week. The course is in great shape. Greens are very nice and fast. Everyone I talked to [ locals, staff ]were very friendly. Had a good couple of rounds. I would highly recommend playing this course. It seamed like the grounds keepers were working hard to keep the greens in very good condition. Enjoy!!
Lots of trees
If you can drive your shot straight, then you'll be fine.
Fun to Play
Nice layout. Recent heavy rains made it difficult. Plugged balls - no run.
Good value overall
Fun course with a variety of holes. Greens and bunkers were great, but fairways were pretty beat-up with lots of divots.
