Great course layout, makes you think shot selection.
Would get 5 stars if not for the driving range, small and hard to maintain. Nice putting area but the course is where it's at. Well maintained, you have to hit straight as the rough is what protects the course. You have to work hard if you get off in it and thats where club selection comes in, not a long course but you have to be able to hit different clubs. Great friendly staff and reasonable pricing.
Good value at the typical rate on GolfNow
I see this course on GolfNow almost every day, and at a reasonable to very inexpensive rate. I play here perhaps 6 times a year and shoot well here (average 90) without woods from the white tees. Fun course, and great to walk if the cart wasn't so inexpensive. Several areas are under repair which came into play even with correct shots, hope these will be addressed before next time. 35 minutes from downtown. Not many trees, just water, hills and high grass. Wind can be a huge factor on most holes.
Nice Links Style Cousre
Fast play, well maintained and mowed. Fun course to play for an afternoon outing and not super difficult.
watering heads r not working in spots
great coarse, but needs help with water in spots, watering heads need attention
This course is worth the 1/2 hr drive from Denver.
The weather has not been great so far this spring so the course is only in average condition. Some tee boxes have winter kill and need attention. The greens were not mowed low so they were slow but they putted true and the reads you get off them are accurate. Fairways are in good shape. Premium on driving accuracy on this course, cuz the rough is both high and thick and quite often you have to just take a wedge and get back into play. The best thing about this course is the value--on weekdays it is never crowded and you can get in 18 holes in about three hrs.
Relaxing and fun. Nice vista. Could use some more trees.
An unhurried, relaxing round. Great view of the mountains. This is not a technical course. It does need some more trees, but the overall experience is great. Great personel.
This course is like a dunes course, pretty wide open.
I have always liked Coyote Creek, have been playing it years, easy to get a tee time and usually not crowded. Worth the drive to Fort Lupton which is about half way to Greeley from Denver.
Enjoy this course
The course is in very good condition for this time of year. And we got a great price. We will go back for sure.
Great deal, great course
I got a GolfNow deal of $20 for 18 + a cart to play this muni up in Ft. Lupton. I have played this course many times before and always have found it to be a fun, season warm up kind of a course. The layout isn't all that challenging, it is pretty wide open and the pace of play is always excellent. It is out of town and you normally don't have to worry about traffic noises or other city noises. Frankly, it is a great golf get-a-way from the city courses with a relaxed, laid back atmosphere.
I always play the course a handful of times during the year. And I always get a great bargain on the tee times for when I want to play.
Sanded greens,play was a little slow.Good overall
Great staff, fun place, views are great. Will do it again!
Early Season Conditions
Would have to play course again to give fair review. Where aerating back nine so only played front twice, conditons where not great but it is still early staff was friendly and got a great deal on golf now.
Fun course and family friendly.
Fun, family friendly course. The staff is always nice and helpful. Not a lot of houses crowding the course and great views of the front range!
Easy, inexpensive course.
I have been playing this course for many years. Best shape in years. New ownership or existing ownership has stepped up. More friendly staff, greens in better shape. Do not lose balls, very simple short course.
40 minute drive from my house in Aurora but worth the drive.
I like the course. Open area which means a 3 or 4 club facing wind at times but the fairways and greens were in good shape and the greens were consistent.
Our foursome were all Golfnow users that day.
Excellent condition for this time of the year
Who ever there course super is should be congratulated as the course was in excellent condition especially for this time of year. I have never played this course before and it is a well kept secret. Greens are tough with slopes and indulations. Fairways are in excellent condition and the rough is thick and difficult to hit out of. This is one of the nices links courses I'vve ever played. they should be proud.
Well maintained even in November. The greens are firm and quick.
The course only has 3 sets of tees. Some water comes into play on about 4 or 5 holes. Not a lot of trouble on the course other than water. The greens are in very good shape and extremely fast. Pace of play was right at 4 hours even on a very busy day.
nice course. great condition for this time of year.
I will play here again. Nice course and the staff was excellent.
Worth Playing
For November the course is well maintained and it appeared they were still watering and cutting the grass. The rough was "rough” & deep and the greens & fairways were in great shape. Nice public course. .
For November golf, the course was in great shape.
We booked our tee time through Golfnow.com and found a smokin' deal. Played on a Friday morning and had the course to ourselves. Most of which had to do with the fact it was November. Great course and great staff!
