Rural golf
The course is well maitained. The greens had been recently aerated and sanded making them very slow.
Good course, good views, good times
I played this course on a Saturday as a TwoSome. We didnt have to wait for anyone, in fact we had a ThreeSome behind us but not pushing us. Pace of play is good. The rough was a little bit long due to all the rain we got last week. Also the bugs were out due to all the rain, def bring some bug spray for the rest of the season.
No obstacles
Wide open with no mature trees. very little water. There were a couple of challenging holes. Good for beginner to intermediate golfers.
Back nine is super fun
We play at Coyote Creek Golf Course a lot...It is great because you are never waiting on players.
nice course
There was hardly anyone there, which was nice considering the slow play I've experienced this year at other courses. Water coolers were everywhere, and the water was ice cold and tasted good. I say this because this doesn't seem to be the case in other, well-known courses. And it was blistering hot, so I was extremely grateful. The course is easy, probably suited for beginners and or high handicappers. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.
Average course, not too exciting
The course is maintained ok, just not a very exciting course. Nothing about it really makes me want to come back except for maybe the price. Plays shorts except for a few par 5's. Most holes are a driver at 275 and a 8,9, or pitch.
Nice
The course is in good shape , straight forward and fun to play ! Staff is amazing an very friendly
Try it you'll like it!
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Course was not busy and was able to play 18 holes in 3 hours. Worth the drive from Wheat Ridge to Fort Lupton.
Nice course, nice staff
The staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions on how best to play (stay out of the rough!!!).
The course has few trees but many areas to get in trouble and the greens are challenging.
Good course and will play it again.
good course good price good times
coyote is a nice course its been in real good shape the 4 or 5 rounds i have played there, definitely worth the drive from denver, check it out!
Good value
My buddies and I drove up from Denver and had an enjoyable day at Coyote Creek.Course was in good condition....they obviously have good access to water.I would visit CC again.
Good value for the money through Golf Now
Played blue tees which gave a reasonable challenge, but probably easier than most courses in the area. Fairways needed a little work but now too bad. Rough was thick bluegrass in places which was a little too long, making it difficult to hit out of, but understandable for the summer heat on the plains. Overall, not the best course in Northern Colorado, but in pretty good shape and fun to play.
Friendly all around
From the staff to the scoring friendly layout, Coyote Creek is an enjoyable test. Roughs are manageable and greens receptive. If they let the rough grow and did a little work to speed up the greens, it could be much more challenging. While you can find trouble if you aren't careful, playing shot to shot can lead to a pleasant scorecard.
Take your range finder and wind velocity meter!
The course is very fun to play, lots of risk and reward. Gets a bit quirky to play with the many lakes and some split fairways on the back nine. Allows for opportunity to "grip and rip" drives but forces you to temper down around the water and sand bunkers.
Memorable holes:2,3,7, 10, 11,13, 18. Not a course for a beginner, but worth the drive and great rates. We always enjoy our game and a cold cooler of beverages from the snack bar.
Take your range finder and wind velocity meter - conditions can change quickly on the plains.
great course
I thought the ruff was very difficult, the fairways were in great shape. The greens were true, and in excellent shape. The Pro shop had some very good prices on goods and many items were at reduced prices. The Pro shop pro was very helpful and the grill room has great food. Even the cart barn people were helpful. The Ranger was friendly and helpful. It seemed a little strange to end the round two holes after we reached the clubhouse. We enjoyed our experience.
Overall a Best Buy....
Course is in 'good' condition. A few spots are a bit over used and need some attentin. Solid greens with a bit of trickery. A number of short holes with some very reachable Par 5's. I played at 1 o'clock on a Sunday and the pace moved very quickly.
Only a 30 minute drive from north side of Denver...Worth the drive.
Great course for the money, great customer service
This course is a good value. It is good with the differing distances of the holes, giving you the opportunity to use most of the clubs in your bag. I played most of the day with one of the rangers. He was helpful, friendly and made the 18 holes enjoyable. Pace was good. Even following a four-some we got done in 4 hours. The one issue I ran across is that on a few occasions, the fairways/greens needed some attention (a little brown). Otherwise, for the money, a very good (if not great) value.
difficult ruffs stay on the fairway
the course is kept up very nicely greens are in great shape but for amateurs I won't recommend it. It has the toughest rough to get out of add a stroke if you don't hit the fairway. roughs are only 3-4" thick and kept up very nicely but not for amateurs..
