About
Located just seven minutes from downtown Hamilton, off the North Shore of Devonshire, Ocean View Golf Club is easily the closest golf course to Bermuda's capital city. The blue Atlantic waters and gentle ocean breezes offer scenic views and create a tranquil atmosphere, but do not underestimate this nine-hole course as it offers a fair amount of challenge. Club selection is crucial due to the elevation changes of the terrain and the occasional strong winds. Although it is an executive length course, there are 18 tee positions to enable play on a second round of holes. Ocean View Golf Club has garnered a following among locals, which in turn has also made it a popular destination for visitors.

A pleasure
Everything in Bermuda costs a lot of money. But one of the best values to be found is at the Ocean View Golf Course.
Foursomes backed up
Two weeks in a row we had to skip holes as we were backed up. Today, there was a group of 20 in front of us but they were split in four groups of five which is not acceptable. We complained after the front nine and were told to skip holes. We pay for 18 holes, not 15.
Ocean View review
For the money, the best golf course on island. Yes it doesn't have 18 holes, it's 9 holes you play twice... But around the course there's trash cans, cold water and the clubhouse to pick up cold drinks and beers if you fancy it.
Good mix of holes and well maintained courses and bunkers.

Good value golf
Our first game in Bermuda and we were pleasantly surprised. We were a 2 ball behind a 3 ball and before a 4 ball - and the 4 ball was quicker than the 3 so we felt like Jane in the sandwich. That said the 3 ball finished after 9 and then we zoomed round. We’ve played better courses but also much worse. The course set up was easy in parts and tricky in others so a good test of golf. Greens were quite good though not fast. Overall a good value course.
Great value
Had a fabulous day with my Bermudian brother in law . Course is shortlish but birdies are hard to get . The greens were not in great shape but the speed was consistent . The par 3’s from the back tees are challenging, 2 of them were 190 yds . .2 par 5’s , one was reachable for me and the par 4’s left you 150-100 with a good tee shot . Loved the course and will play it again.
Great value for money
This is a relatively short, 9 hole course, but it has some fun and challenging holes that demand accuracy.
There is something to challenge every golfer on this course and it is excellent value for money. After lots of rainfall recently, the course was in great condition and looked green and lush. A great day out golfing with friendly staff and a perfectly adequate 19th hole.
Fun, Fast and aFFordable
I’ve played Ocean View about a dozen times. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate an earlier tee time if you arrive early and space is available. The course layout is challenging with many blind tee shots and elevated greens. The greens are not in pga condition but play consistent. The speed of play is generally fast and most groups are willing to let you play thorough if you’re a moving quickly. Overall, this is a fun 9 hole course that’s very affordable. I’d recommend this course to anyone who is interested in a little golf in Bermuda and who is not looking to spend a fortune on a round.
