Ocean View Golf Club
About
Located just seven minutes from downtown Hamilton, off the North Shore of Devonshire, Ocean View Golf Club is easily the closest golf course to Bermuda's capital city. The blue Atlantic waters and gentle ocean breezes offer scenic views and create a tranquil atmosphere, but do not underestimate this nine-hole course as it offers a fair amount of challenge. Club selection is crucial due to the elevation changes of the terrain and the occasional strong winds. Although it is an executive length course, there are 18 tee positions to enable play on a second round of holes. Ocean View Golf Club has garnered a following among locals, which in turn has also made it a popular destination for visitors.

Great little course
If you are looking for value in Bermuda, then this little gem is it. Yes, only 9 holes, but different tee boxes, makes it 18 holes of delight. Great layout, nice views and you can't beat the price.
Just book a tee time already!
If you want to play golf in Bermuda and don't want to pay nearly $200 to play the other courses then don't hesitate playing Ocean View.
Stop reading through all of the negatives, the course could use a little TLC, but it is a gem when you think of what you would have to pay to play elsewhere on the island. This course is quirky, short, but fun. I would definitely play again. The staff was great, very friendly. While the course is short, an errant shot can lead to a hole becoming long quickly because of the elevation changes.
A taxi stays on site and in the event there isn't one there, the staff will call one for you.
My wife rode with me and there was no extra charge for a non-player.
So just book a tee time already!
Fun course but not a classic
Ocean View is a 9 hole course you play off different tees second time round if you want to play 18. The tees second time round are just further back.
The holes are undulating with a few blind shots, it's actually a reasonable layout, with one or two fairly tight holes.
The condition of the course is mediocre, the greens and fairways have seen better days but are playable. The bunkers are good but unfortunately the plentiful rakes are rarely used.
For $40 It is fair value, when put in comparison with other courses on the Island. By the way, the ocean view is just from the first tee.
If your expectations are not too high and you don't take it too seriously, you'll undoubtedly have fun.
Good Little Track
Great little course with some challenging shots. Doesn't quite compare to some of the major courses on the island but you cannot beat it for the price. Staff was friendly and our round was flawless.
Beautiful Course and Nice Staff
Course was very scenic and interesting. Staff couldn't be nicer!
Nine-hole Challenge
As public courses go, this was a challenging, nine-hole layout. The course was hilly, with several blind tee shots, but the slope recognized that. The ninth holes is a very beautiful par-3 - very photogenic. The pro gave us a discount on our greens fees because there was a tournament going on, and GolfNow should have blocked our tee time. Then, while we were playing, the taxis went on strike in Bermuda! The assistant manager was nice enough to give us a ride back to our hotel. Great customer service! The bar was only operating sporadically, and the main rest rooms were out of order. However, the golf course was fine, and clearly worth the price.
No good golf
To many hillls a lot of uneven hills dry grass. Not keep up very well. some what easy to play. would like to know how many other golf courses are like this one. Picked this course because of the $45.00 it was , thru Golf Now. will not play there again.
A great value for 18 holes!
One of the best values there is on Golf Now in Bermuda!
Inexpensive Gem
Ocean View is a great and inexpensive way to get out on the course while in Bermuda. It does need some TLC and the bunkers are in relatively poor condition, but for the price, the pace of play and the beauty, this course is worth it. I booked using golfnow.com and was able to play 18 with a cart for less than $40. Generally the course is not very busy, so I played around in 2 hours 15 minutes. It is fairly short so the lower handicap player will definitely want to play the back tees for a little added distance. Keep in mind there are only 9 holes, so you go around twice to play 18. I usually play the white tees on the front and blues on the back.
Great views pity about the greens
Played whilst I was on a cruise, the cruise ship wanted $160 for the day but I Got a great deal through GolfNow and paid $75 for 18 holes, buggy and rental clubs. If the greens had been better it would have been a fantastic day. Managed to email ahead and reserved set of TM stiff shaft clubs that were pristine. Enjoyed the layout of the course even playing from two different sets of tees to make it an 18 hole course was ok. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The only moan I would have is the greens had been hollow tined and sanded a couple of days before and I wasn't made aware of this either by GolfNow or Ocean View.
Great, inexpensive course
great course with some long fairways and challenging hills.
Staff were very friendly, and course was well kept.
For the money, you can't go wrong. I would return with friends and family without hesitation
Great value
Pretty course. Difficult for a beginner. Can be slow if you're playing behind a large group. The course was quite maintained and I had a wonderful time! Best deal in Bermuda!
Great Value
Booked through Golf Now played 18 with cart for $45. 9 holes but challenging.Played from whites first nine, then reds a second time for a different view. Small pub restaurant and pro shop..
Many of the holes were very similar to Tuckers Point at a fraction of the cost.
Not made to feel welcome
The greens are of the poorest 'pay & play' variety. Local players do not welcome tourists - a four ball raced past us to the tee, saying as they teed off that there was another four ball in front so it made no difference! We were a two ball and actually it did because any other four ball was out of site and holes ahead. Eventually we were called through on the 12th (3rd hole second time around) when all four in front of us were looking for balls. Not a course I would recommend.
