This is a fun course
The more I play the more I enjoy it. A few water holes on the back nine which are a lot of fun to navigate. I usually donate a ball or 2 to the water gods! Love the layout of this course. Do note lots of geese poop around so wear your old shoes!
Goose poo
If you like goose poop this is your course. No maintenance really going on here. Large holes in the greens. Hot dog machine was broken so they weren't serving hot dogs. Could be a great course but the staff doesn't seem to take much pride in their facilities.
Lots of variety
Lots of course variety makes this a fun course to play. A few water holes make things interesting. Great staff and a great deal on golf now. Need to play it a few times to get a good feel for tee shots.
Second time here
As others have noted, it is best to play this course a few times to get a feel for the layout. I did much better the 2nd time out! There is a lot of water in play which I find enjoyable even though I give up a few golf balls to the water gods! Very pleased to find a course open on Thanksgiving Day and i headed out at 1040 AM and done 3 hours later. Which makes for a pleasant time. Lots of geese on the course and their poop so be aware! A great value thru GolfNow that made for an enjoyable few hours. I will return and hope to do better next time!
Firs time
My first time. Good thing I was paired with folks who had played here before as it is tough course to figure out first go round. As others have noted, pretty poor tee boxes and bird poop took away from the course. Many pitch marks not fixed by golfers is very noticeable! Fix your marks! Got behind a 5 person so it was very slow going. Lots of water makes it a fun course if you enjoy that! Lastly, they don't let you take your cart to and from your car to load and unload which is a bother.
Great course for the money
Everything was great with the course and conditions. My only complaint was the amount of goose poop on the greens and fist sized holes due to geese digging it up.
Again
Good course layout in fairly good condition. Paired up with a nice twosome. Enjoyable round even though it took 5 hours for the round.
Good course let down by bad tee boxes.
Let me say that it’s a good course that you’d need to play a couple of times to know what to hit off the tee. It was dreadfully slow on the back 9 when I played that then meant my interest drifted. The biggest issue though was the condition of the tee boxes. Terrible which is such a shame as most other things were great. Hopefully this will be corrected going forward as it is a fun course to play and despite my gripes, I would go back again.
