Clearview Park Golf Course

Play here often due to proximity. It's been a week since the greens were aerated yet still ton of sand and holes everywhere. Pace of play was okay as despite going off 1st tee two of the 3 I played with took forever getting ready, hitting shots and finding their balls. It wasn't the case this time but would like Clearview to stop using the blue fertilizer dye as it ruins every single pair of golf shoes.

I reported on this before, but they have to add senior tees or shorten the distance to the fairway..

Haven’t played the Staten Island courses but so far this is one of the best public courses in NYC. Watch out for the foxes on the back of the course, if you leave your stuff unattended, they’ll see what they can take. Cute little furry creatures.

Perfect weather, course in terrific shape, 6:40 am tee time, 9 holes, and we welcomed the sun. Hard to beat.

Probably an unheralded layout within the city but definitely worth the effort. Nice layout, great greens. The Starter could be a little more welcoming, but he did keep things moving. Overall a great day of golf.

The course was fine but very uninteresting. Most homes are straight. Not much variety, or water or even sand traps. The speed of play was slow. It took us 5 1/2 hours to finish, waiting on traffic ahead of us.

The course was nice bunkers could be better. Tee boxes were great greens were faster than I remember Nature was great never saw a Red Fox on a down state course there was a family maybe 3 or 4.

Good value. Good course…. Could use a little more TLC. Okay conditions…but can golfers please learn how to repair ball marks. Very Hospitable staff. Good snack bar.
