Unfortunate condition
This is a really nice course which needs a lot of maintenance. It’s a great layout but unfortunately not in good condition….bare dirt tee boxes, scratchy lies on fairways….hardly any amenities. Have played here over the years due to its location but has always needed more maintenance.
Tee boxes need some TLC. As it being fall, course needs to have leaves blown off of fairways. Even after driving ball center of fairway still had some problems locating balls.
We need Trump to come save this place!

Very overpriced, awful course
Already expensive course and they charged for parking when I got there. The first four holes were flooded from a water main break. Some of the tee boxes were in atrocious condition and the greens were wildly inconsistent. Cannot recommend this course at all and I will never be returning.
No longer worth playing here
This course really has gone to crap and is not at all worth playing anymore. It really is too bad because the course is otherwise picturesque and fun to play.
I don't really understand why the conditions are so bad given the cost to play here. It is by far the worst condition of any of the NYC public courses and one of the most expensive to play, which is honestly unacceptable.
New ownership is needed here to save this golf course.

Fairways torn up all over and staff was very unfriendly
Embarrassment
I have lived in New York city a long time and usually can sniff out a con when I see one. This place is an absolute disgrace. From having to pay for parking in a crappy dirty lot to having to share a cart with a stranger with both parties having paid separately. I'm not even going to mention the course which is like an unmowed field that was trampled after a concert. Tee boxes were mud pits. Greens look like they has monkey pox. I paid for 18. Played 9 ams left I'm disgust. Don't go here.
Worst Condition
The golf course is in the worst condition with no maintenance at all. I lost a lot of balls that fell on the Fairway because they didn't mow the grass.
