Your staff needs to reign in Players to replace divots and fix BALL marks. A sign on first TEE explaining TEEs to used. Too many playing Blue Tees that drive ball less than 200yds. Maybe during the week put blue tees up to white tees. Blue just for weekends. Pace of play WILL improve.

Under new management the tee box & greens condition are getting better. Couple holes still need some time to grow but overall is much better than before. Really don't understand why those players play every day but never replace the ball marks. Also some fairway bunkers missing rakes.

Maybe the staff just had a bad day but catching an attitude when trying to purchase teatime is not what you want when you first walk into a clubhouse.

Then being impaired up and forced to play with people on a dime after waiting and purchasing a solo teatime being told I can only play with foursomes and then the group behind me only had two people not understanding where that came from.

Couldn’t finish because at 8 o’clock they were forcing us off the course which we still had sun till 830 past so the value of the money not so much this time the headache was created for no reason one of the worst experience I’ve had here and I come a lot.

I enjoyed playing here yesterday not only due to the well groomed tee boxes, fairways, and greens but because of the tight organization by the staff. They had a cart person available with refreshments at reasonable prices and a ranger who listened to our complaints about slow play in front of us and addressed them with that group.

Rough cut which speeds up play. A pure pleasure. The new Management is the BEST Clearview ever had. Only beef is a cart for a single is too much money. Playing again Tomorrow

7 HOURS. Ranger useless . Numerous open holes. A shame as the course has NEVER been in better shape to play

What do you do if you meet a beautiful woman, only to discover that her breath smells like doo-doo?? That's the clearview dilemma. This course has so much potential. It's in much, much, much better condition than marine park and forest park (2 other nyc muni courses) but not as long as marine park. But the pace of play was brutal. 6 hours?? That's waaaaayyyy too long. I felt like going home. And the rough didn't help either. If you're going to have top tier rough, then you have to spread those tee times further apart. Beautiful course, but stank pace of play. What do you do??
