Can’t Lose A Single Ball Here
As a beginner golfer, this has been one of my favorite courses in NYC. The course is very forgiving in that the fairways are wide and there aren’t thick bushes that gobble up balls. The breeze is real nice too since it’s by the water.
Slow but nixe
Like I said nice course, very slow on the weekends
Slow play.
Players playing blue Tees that hit drives 150 yds. Rangers do nothing to keep pace of play. Starter does not mention keep up with group in front of you. Starter does not ask to fix ball marks on green. Rangers caught sleeping.
Aeration time
The greens were aerated, a good thing, so auto two puts . The course was not in bad shape, all tee boxes now open.
Best Course in Queens
Wide fairways make this course great for high-handicappers like myself. I will definitely be playing here again.
Decent Course -- Great Staff
Have been going to CVP for years. Excellent staff and layout for a NYC public!
Needs work
Extremely slow play. Rangers useless. Greens need to be top dressed again, large holes. Putting not fair. Staff excellent. Players need to be instructed to repair ball marks and keep pace.

Food was a rip off price. Staff was great except Male starter.
Aeration without representation......revolt!
Hi Clearview team, a modest discount would at least make us think that you care. Understand the need to aerate, but at full value?
A little Fore-play goes a long way.
The fairways are nice but the greens are unplayable, they are air ratting the greens
The fairways are nice , nice friendly staff, they should have discounted the price during this time. Overall not a bad course
Terrible greens
If I would of known that the greens were being serviced I would not of played the course.A free round of golf would be a good compesation.
