MOSQUITOS
This course should not be allowed to be played. It is a mosquito infestation. While the course is in great shape, the mosquitos are unbearable no matter the bugspray you bring. Wait till summer ends.
Mosquitoes
Used to play here all the time hadn’t played in 10 years was off works so came out. I left after hitting my tee shot and walking to the ball. Never seen anything like the mosquitos here it’s wasn’t like this before. Literally hundreds swarm you and bite no way to avoid it. Luckily I booked through their website and got money back. Staff is nice and have a great big chipping putting area with no mosquitos. Really sad was looking forward to golf not a biblical mosquito plague.
Mosquito City
The course is unplayable during the summer. The mosquito's start attacking on the first tee and don't stop until you are back in your car. Bug spray is like cologne to them. Does not matter the time of day. They have let the situation get out of control the last two years. The fact they charge you to park is salt in your wounds.
BUGS
Avoid this golf course. You will be eaten alive and the insects seem to love bug spray. Pace of play isn’t great either.
Mosquitoes!! Beware!!
I strongly recommend avoiding this course. The mosquito problem is out of control, and it’s unacceptable given the cost — $93 for a round of golf plus $3 for parking. I only made it through nine holes because every single one was swarming with mosquitoes. They were constantly buzzing around my ears, and I ended up with mosquito stains on my clothes from swatting them away. It’s genuinely unsafe to allow players on the course under these conditions and the city should do something about it. I will not be returning. Absolutely awful!! Worst round I ever played. Not to mention the greens have not been cut in a long time are super slow and dark.
Fine course
I played this course yesterday and paid for 18 and were only able to play 15. The greens were well maintained but once we got to the 7th hole our cart and us got swarmed by thousands of mosquitoes. We tried to drive away past the 9th hole and they followed us for a while. I woke up the next day to about 20 bites on each leg and arms. Nobody warned us about this and would have brought bug spray or something else. It was fine after the 10th hole but still not ok for paying 100$ per person and not able to play the entire round
Mosquitos
They still haven’t gotten the bug problem under control. Also the Greens were super slow like moss..
Good potential
I give the overall experience about a 6.5 out of 10 and the only reason it’s that high is because of the staff. I’m not too sure if the clubhouse just wasn’t paying attention or if GolfNow is not coordinating with the clubhouse, but the amount of people who were scheduled for the same teatime literally 20+ people waiting at the first hole if it wasn’t for the staff letting us start on the back nine I would’ve requested a refund love the staff very friendly people. The course is really not that bad but it’s definitely the ugly stepchild version of Pelham country club, but overall cannot complain at all for the round given the help with the staff.
Great Time
Had a great time playing this course. The whole staff but mainly the guy working the carts and the rangers were so friendly and welcoming!
Stay away
Abysmal pace and management. Expect to tee off nearly an hour later and wait multiple groups deep on the early holes. Seems like they’re squeezing this buddies on the course
