Awful
Worst course i’ve ever played in my entire life of playing golf. Wouldn’t play here if i was payed to. From the tee to green and the cart paths should have been redone 30 years ago
Love an interesting round of golf??
My wife and I came up from Connecticut for a weekend of golf at Catskill. We first found this wonderfully interesting course from my playing in the Catskill Classic, a great value, well run 2-day 4 Ball tournament played in July which includes a practice round, food and prizes. This weekend was great but short due to a bad storm on Sunday which cost us our back nine. The people we met both this weekend and past tournaments are amazingly friendly and efficient. Tony the Head Professional ran the tournaments beautifully and was great this tough weather weekend in allowing us to get in almost both of our rounds even with very unfriendly weather. You will love the layout of the course. Every hole is different and a playing treat and don't forget to stop in for food and a few beers afterwards. If you like competition check out The Classic next year open to the public.
Not taken care of
$50.00 on a Sunday for a course like this is way overpriced. Played 18 with cart and the conditions were terrible….one bunker on the 1st par 3 had no sand and was overgrown with weeds( unplayable) and most others were not much better. The greens were lousy as some had bare spots. At 11 am there was nothing open to get food and the pro shop had a few small bags of nuts and chips.
I am not a pro and do not expect perfection but the conditions really needed work…seems like not much money going back into this course.
Very hilly tight course
Course has a lot of elevation changes. It lacks width in same places. I still enjoyed the layout. Considering we’re good for my late season round.
Very Nice Course
Very nice course with good variety of holes. Course conditioning was very good: fairways tightly mowed, greens were smooth and quick. Some very interesting and challenging elevation changes. Lost a few balls with crooked tee shots. Bring your "A" game and you'll have a fun and rewarding round. Excellent value for the money!!
Nice for the money
Conditions from tee boxes to greens were a pleasant surprise and much better than we expected. Many blind shots and not much water. Staff friendly and lunch was good. The only negative were the sand bunkers or lack of sand….will play again.
Bring your camera, pace of play great, great restaurant
This course have many elevation changes, its become more player friendly , greens are great, the new nine has matured beautifully. One of the nicest courses in the Hudson Valley.
