Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Nice county level semi-private.
A nice semi private track that is mostly moderate in difficulty except for 3 or 4 easy and 3 or 4 long and difficult holes. My only reservation was the challenge of playing with an unpleasant member.
Nice course!
This course was in good shape, and moderately challenging for me (my handicap index is 22). Pace of play was fantastic: we teed off on Sunday at 2:00 pm and were done in like 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Some holes need help. Holes near the driving range have balls all over the nearby holes so trying to find your ball, ends up being a pain. Definitely not worth the money.
Above average
Fast pace of play + not too long + not too pricey = Not too shabby. Would play again.
The superintendent
The superintendent was driving all over every hole with no regard for running over people’s balls a lot of maintenance stuff on the course while trying to play did not move Greensboro in bad shape the 10th hole looks like they laid a rug down as a green
What a pleasant surprise. I stumbled upon this Westchester gem. Staff was super friendly. And the young men I was paired with made my day. I always say the best thing about golf isn't the game. It's the amazing people you spend 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 hours with. You all have the same gold in mind. Your socio-economic, color, creed origin, and height don't come in to play. I definitely will be back.
