Rude golfers
There were players golfing from our fairway onto ours without looking to see who was on the tee box. It seemed like the golfers on the course do not know rules of golf
Great Value when on sale
I would never pay full price to play this course, however I managed to snag a "hot deal" on GolfNow for around $36 for 18 and a cart. With that phenomenal pricing you can't go wrong. Tough enough layout with a good mix of hole difficulty. I enjoy playing back 9/front 9 format, rather than conventional. Their driving range and putting green are perfect for pre-round routines/practicing as well. Definitely will go back anytime a deal comes around.
Everything about our experience at Eagle Vale would be very good except the pace of play, which made the round very frustrating. Especially since the course wasn't packed and there was no ranger on the course to speed things along. When we spoke to the Starter at the turn regarding the pace of play of the group ahead of us, he unfortunately didn't do anything about it.We eventually skipped a few holes and jumped ahead of the foursome because it was just unacceptable.

Course has been improved this past year
Course is in good shape with several trees and cat tails removed. Greens were wet most of the day with few. Didn’t dry out until 1 pm with no effort made to remove the dew.

Great course but a little tight. It gets a lot of play and greens and tee boxes are a little cut up.
Good Course Marred By Poor Management
The course:
Nice layout with challenging holes. All levels of golfers will enjoy the course design.
Marshalls are pretty much non existent. You will see an employee riding the course occasionally but I have never seen one try to speed up play or enforce basic etiquette as regards to respecting the course.
They send a group off the tee every seven or eight minutes so the course is always jammed up.
The greens while fast and relatively true are marred by hundreds (yes hundreds) of un-repaired punch marks.
The Employees:
Starters are friendly and courteous and try to be as accommodating as they can.
Pro shop staff is terrible. It's manned by old retired and miserable men who seem like they'd rather be almost anywhere else. There are exceptions but most of them are rude, dismissive and arrogant. It seems that they have forgotten that golf is supposed to be a game for gentlemen and ladies. I've gotten more respect at a bowling alley.
Restaurant/bar is adequate with friendly staff but is usually understaffed so dining is slow, very slow.
In short EV is a good course with slightly high but reasonable rates marred by poor care by golfers, over crowded conditions and some absolutely miserable pro shop staff.
