Kissena Park Golf Course

The lawn was well maintained and was safe and clean.

Someone in my foursome got hit in the head with a shot while waiting in the 18th hole tee box. Incredibly dangerous and hard to see the other golfers shooting at you. Besides how tight the back 9 is, the course is overall solid, lots of elevation changes. No par 5s on this course so you can finish this in just under 4 hours. This is my home course and I will always go back. Course conditions yesterday were great for a public course compared to other nyc courses in the area.

This isn’t a fancy golf course. It’s not even a long course. But it’s fun. Decent pace of play on a beautiful Tuesday. It’s not bethpage but it’s fun. And it’s golf in nyc. I’d play it again if it’s convenient. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to play it.

Too many beginners on weekend! Took 3 hours to play front 9, ridiculous! Carts & golfers all over the place, on wrong holes! No Ranger! Don't go on weekends! I was told during week it's much better!!

My golf buddy and I love this course. The staff is always great and for the most part, pace of play is pretty good. However...the cart paths are out of control awful. They are full of holes and crumbling away so much that you have to go very slow so you don't a) fall out of the cart from bouncing around b) ruin your clubs from them hitting against each other. There are also no on-course services (drinks/food). These aren't things that will keep us from playing here but they are things that could use improvement.

Nice course to walk and practice golf swing in some challenges

Course is what you would expect. Short but fun. But I parked in the lot connected to the course near the end and when I returned some one had hit the ball off the 1st hole tee and it went over the trees and landed on the front of my hood. Giant golf ball dent right in the middle. So just a friendly warning.

There's no Par 5, but some of greens are challenging.

Good to play.

Great course for seniors such as our group with everyone in their late sixties. Par fours under 300 yards reachable in regulation so it was a lot of fun..

Course condition particularly the fairways was excellent considering the number of rounds it must get. Only drawback for me and one of the other guys is that we live in Westchester so it’s a bit of a drive. But will definitely come back.

Had 527am tee time and figured we would have no issues getting 18 in on this shorter course as second group out. That was working until we made the turn to 10. 4 groups at the tee because they over booked the course on the back. No starter or staff at 10 to oversee the nonsense and get things on track. Waited at least 20 minutes at each hole in the rain and couldn't finish the round because of lightning. Had there been no delay we would have easily been done. Scratch this one off the list.
